Unfortunately for Levy, The Technicians had a contingency plan in place if Levy were to betray their cause. What exactly is it that The Technicians seek, and will the other Invincibles manage to escape from their trapped dimension?

In the final ten minutes of season three, they packed in quite a bit of intriguing material to keep viewers eager for more. For instance, a quick scene underground in the sewers hints that ordinary people are secretly harboring Martian parasites.

Until now, it had been assumed that Shapesmith was the sole Martian on Earth, but it appears things have changed. What are the intentions of these parasites and how might they impact the events of season four? Could these antagonists play a significant or minor role in upcoming episodes? Will this development possibly lead to Shapesmith turning against the Global Defense Agency?

In the last scene of season three, we witness the reappearance of Damien Darkblood, a character initially introduced in season one.
