A fresh trailer for the upcoming game, 007 First Light, was shown during the Xbox Partner Preview event. The game, set to launch on March 27, 2026, aims to capture the feel of the James Bond films and novels, and will prominently feature a classic Bond car.
The studio behind the Hitman games, IO Interactive, is developing 007 First Light, and it’s looking like a potential blockbuster for next year. With a fantastic cast and the legacy of the James Bond franchise behind it, expectations are high. After a detailed showcase in September’s State of Play event, we’ve gotten a good look at the game, and it delivers the excitement you’d expect from a James Bond adventure.

007 First Light Brings Aston Martin Valhalla to Gaming
The new trailer for 007 First Light features James Bond behind the wheel of an Aston Martin – the Valhalla, to be exact. This is Aston Martin’s first mid-engine plug-in hybrid hypercar, and it’s just one of several exciting cars players will be able to drive in the game.
As a long-time Bond fan, I’m really excited to see what they do with the new game! It’s tough to follow something as legendary as Goldeneye – that game was huge! – but I think it’s awesome they’re trying to reimagine the series for a modern audience. Even if it doesn’t reach Goldeneye‘s level, a fresh take on Bond is always welcome, in my opinion.
