After the September 3rd State of Play broadcast, the developers at IO Interactive unveiled the pre-order incentives for the upcoming 007 First Light game. These perks include special outfits and distinctive gadget cosmetics that James Bond can utilize. In addition, it was confirmed that a $299 Legacy Edition will be available, offering a Golden Gun Figurine and a corresponding in-game weapon skin, as long as supplies last.
The special State of Play episode focused on the game 007 First Light, provided insights into its initial mission where a young James Bond, accompanied by his superiors, sneak into a castle. Upon spotting a bellhop acting suspiciously and discarding luggage from the castle’s edge, Bond opted to trail him instead of sticking to his post. The broadcast also displayed gameplay segments showcasing how players can evade unnecessary confrontations and utilize their surroundings tactically, mirroring the Hitman series by IO Interactive.
The broadcast further revealed exhilarating car chases and intense gunfights that bore resemblance to multiple 007 movies.
