As models, the Claws of Karanak effectively embody the wild, ferocious essence of Flesh Hounds. Dressed in furs and masks resembling their beastly counterparts, they enhance the characters of these miniatures significantly. The axes with serrated edges, menacing poses, and snarling expressions make them seem incredibly brutal and insane, even from a distance on the battlefield.

Shimmering Knights Of The Dark Prince

If you’re more interested in Slaanesh’s arrogance than its depravity, the Myrmidesh could be your ideal choice. These beings prioritize their perfection over everything else and engage in various blade cults where they become masters of a specific fighting style, demonstrating exceptional skill in it above all others.

As a discerning moviegoer, I find these figures to be a refreshing balance amidst the provocatively sensual models in the Slaanesh collection. They possess an otherworldly, demonic allure, yet their simplicity and elegance are undeniably captivating. Indeed, they embody the ideal image of Slaaneshi knights, striking a perfect blend of style and sinister intrigue.

As a devoted fan of the “Dawn of War” series, I can attest that the Bloodthirster remains as iconic today as it was two decades ago. These greater daemons of the Blood God are veritable embodiments of war and death, each one a walking, flying testament to carnage. A single Bloodthirster is more than capable of decimating throngs of lesser beings, and even the most valiant heroes might find themselves momentarily halted in its presence.

From my perspective as a cinematic connoisseur, the Bloodthirster exudes an authentic demonic ambiance that harkens back to classic horror aesthetics. With its bestial visage crowned by towering batwings, it roars with primal fury as it rips through the fabric of existence from the infernal fires beneath. Khorne’s essence has always been synonymous with the quintessential demonic form, and the Bloodthirster stands as the epitome of this timeless portrayal.

Three Brothers, One Model

In simpler terms, the Glottkin are the most esteemed offspring of Nurgle, who emerged before the collapse of the Old World, yet reemerged during the Age of Sigmar under the command of the plague deity. However, they found their strength with the guidance of Grandfather Nurgle.

The models are impressive at the table and clearly show each brother’s unique personality. The creature once known as Ghurk is hardly identifiable as human now, having become a monstrous form. Otto ascended to the highest point, gripping a scythe in one hand while holding his own intestines in the other. Simultaneously, Ethrac readies a gruesome spell to share Nurgle’s curse with an unsuspecting group of unfortunate souls.

Dexcessa came into existence during a failed plot by cunning Morathi to tap the power of a captive Prince of Pleasure. Unintentionally, she split a piece of the divine essence, which fractured into two extraordinarily potent Keepers of Secrets, one of whom was Dexcessa themselves.

Unlike her graceful and peaceful twin Synessa, Dexcessa is a ruthless and savage entity. Her delight lies in the brutality of hand-to-hand combat, leaving devastation in her wake whenever someone unlucky enough to be near her falls victim to her wrath. Despite this carnage, she maintains an air of artistry and elegance in her brutal acts.

5. Gaunt Summoner

Eyes Everywhere

The Gaunt Summoners are enslaved servants of Tzeentch, the Chaos God of Sorcery. They were seized during the era known as the Age of Chaos. Their role is to guard the towers that link the mortal and chaotic realms, making them highly valued prisoners of Archaeon. Defeating them was a remarkable accomplishment since they are among Tzeentch’s most powerful wizards.

The Gaunt Summoner exudes an eerie, otherworldly aura. With a semblance of humanity but distinctly unlike anything else within the setting, it boasts multiple eyes affixed to metal horns and a posture that seems to imply the absence of legs. A warpflame erupts from the book it holds. It embodies the essence of Tzeentch’s power perfectly.

4. Vizzik Skour

Skaven Yes-Yes

Regardless of their small size, the Skaven are an extremely perilous clan. Their swarming rat-folk numbers are countless and they have the ability to overpower nearly any army that dares challenge them. Vizzik, high priest of the Great Horned Rat and Ruler of the Gnaw, increases their menace significantly. His mere presence ignites a passionate, rabid fervor in the underworld’s armies. He is an honorable heir to the esteemed Skaven of the Old World.

The model is equally revolting and astonishing. The rat-like appendages scattered across Vizzik’s form are contorted into even more appalling configurations, whereas the cluster of irregular horns adorning his head serves as a testament to his status as the divine favorite of the rodent deity.

3. Harbinger Of Decay

The Reaper Cometh

In this context, “The Harbingers of Decay” can be rephrased as “Priests of Plague, Chosen by the God of Pestilence among his mortal worshippers.” They lead their mounts, barely alive, into conflict, seeming to observe the allies of the Ancient One with what appears to be a fatherly gaze. The legions of Nurgle display heightened determination under their scrutiny, eager for the god’s attention to recognize their devotion and grant them rewards. It would be exciting if they could join the Nurgle faction in Total War: Warhammer 3 at some stage.

The Harbinger of Decay represents a less joyful aspect of Nurgle compared to nurglings and jolly warriors. It’s grim, revolting, and symbolizes death. With the right painting, it might seem like the Biblical Rider of Pestilence. One can only imagine the horrors concealed beneath that helmet.

In simpler terms, Archaon is the most powerful mortal known across all realms or the old world. His power is so immense that it cannot be denied; he was chosen by his own will as Everchosen. He doesn’t appreciate the gods he supposedly serves and dreams of their downfall at his hands. Given his past, this is not just a wish but a very real threat. In the game ‘Warhammer Fantasy’, he led the Chaos Warriors to destroy the Old World, and now he intends to use them to bring down the gods who rule over the mortal realms.

Upon his fearsome steed Dorghar, Archaon, a formidable figure who has devoured three greater daemons from the Chaos Gods themselves, makes his way towards battle. Although it would be delightful to see Archaon in a dynamic pose similar to his Warhammer Fantasy model, particularly for fans of Total War: Warhammer, this is the most effective means to truly convey his immense presence. A massive statue for one of the most formidable antagonists in the entire Warhammer universe is what we are dealing with here.
