10 Best Games You Must Play on PlayStation Plus Released in 2025

PlayStation Plus members have a lot to look forward to in 2025! You can dive into the futuristic world of Cyberpunk 2077, experience the incredible adventure of God of War: Ragnarök, or brave the terrifying atmosphere of Alan Wake 2. There’s a fantastic game for everyone to enjoy this year.

PlayStation Plus constantly updates its game selection, offering a growing library of titles depending on your subscription level. While some of these games are fantastic, others aren’t as noteworthy. Here are TopMob’s picks for the 10 best PlayStation Plus games to look forward to in 2025.

Top 10 PlayStation Plus Games of 2025

God of War Ragnarök

Let’s start with God of War Ragnarök, a highly anticipated sequel released in January. If you enjoyed the first game, you’ll love this one – it builds on everything that made the original great with new features, exciting worlds to discover, and a satisfying ending to the story.

High On Life

Released in 2022 by Squanch Games, High on Life is a funny, action-packed adventure game played from a first-person perspective. What makes it stand out are its bizarre characters and, most notably, guns that talk! The story puts you in the role of a hero trying to save humanity from an alien group who plan to use people as a drug. With a sequel on the way, now is a great time to play the original game.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

If you enjoy 2D platforming adventure games like Metroidvanias, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is worth checking out. It tells a brand new story set in a beautiful world inspired by Persia, complete with impressive locations. You’ll use cool time powers and acrobatic skills to battle enemies warped by time and other creatures from myth.

Hogwarts Legacy

If you’re a Harry Potter fan and haven’t played Hogwarts Legacy yet, it’s the perfect game for you. While the story takes place centuries before the books and films, you’ll still explore a wonderfully familiar magical world as a brand new character. It has everything you love about the Harry Potter universe – spellcasting, potion-making, exploring iconic locations – all within a fresh, original storyline.

Blue Prince

Blue Prince is a highly-rated indie game coming out in 2025 that’s quickly gaining popularity worldwide. Set in the enigmatic Mt. Holly manor—a place where the rooms constantly change—you play as the new owner searching for the elusive Room 46. To find it, you’ll need to explore every room and overcome the unique puzzles and mysteries hidden within each one.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is my favorite game so far. I’ve spent over 140 hours playing, with more than 70 of those hours just exploring the open world without even completing the main story. I don’t usually enjoy first-person games, but this one is an exception. The game’s world is incredibly detailed and the characters are well-developed, making Night City feel like the star of the show. You’ll find yourself lost in exploring the city for most of the game.

Lies of P

I’ve been checking out Lies of P, and if you’re into tough, skill-based games like the Souls series, this one is definitely worth a look! You play as Pinocchio’s puppet – yeah, that Pinocchio – and you’re on a mission to defeat all sorts of crazy monsters. The game is set in this really cool, dark version of a beautiful, old-fashioned city called Krat, and it’s basically Neowiz’s take on the Pinocchio story, but way darker and grimmer than you’d expect.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

If you own a PlayStation, you absolutely need to play Marvel’s Spider-Man. It’s a top-rated game, both as a PlayStation exclusive and a superhero title in general. This remastered version boasts improved graphics and smoother gameplay, letting you experience an original story as Peter Parker, swinging through New York City and battling famous villains.

Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake 2 is the highly praised follow-up to the 2010 game, but you don’t need to have played the original to enjoy this scary and complex horror experience. The game lets you play as two characters: Alan Wake, a writer stuck in a terrifying nightmare, and Saga Anderson, an investigator in the real world. You’ll explore two distinct locations – the beautiful Cauldron Lake and the frightening Dark Place. When facing dangerous, supernatural enemies, light is your most powerful tool for survival and combat.

Red Dead Redemption

Okay, so Red Dead Redemption was actually the first game they made, even though the story happens after Red Dead Redemption 2. I play as John Marston, and basically, I’m hunting down the last of the Van Der Linde Gang to get my revenge. This new version looks amazing though – way better resolution and it runs super smooth, especially on the newer consoles.

Also, we’ve got helpful guides for Blue Prince, with solutions to the Billiard Room and Dart Puzzles, plus instructions on how to open the safe in the Boudoir.

So, PlayStation Plus is dropping some new games in 2025, and I’m already trying to figure out which ones I’m gonna jump into first! What about you guys? Let me know in the comments which games you’re most excited about, or come chat with us about it over on the TopMob Discord!
