10 Boruto Characters That Are Beyond Kage Level

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has delivered a lot of thrilling fights and introduced many powerful characters. As expected, this new series has significantly raised the power levels we’ve seen before. What used to be incredibly rare – someone as strong as a Kage – is now almost commonplace. The series has already shown us numerous characters who are far more powerful than any Kage, and we can anticipate even more incredibly strong fighters appearing soon.

Mitsuki

Orochimaru’s Child

I’ve noticed Mitsuki hasn’t been a major player in the recent Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapters, but his quick fight with Boruto Uzumaki really showed everyone just how strong he’s become. It’s clear he spent the time after the time skip training relentlessly with the goal of defeating Boruto, and even though he ultimately didn’t go through with it, being able to fight Boruto on equal footing proves he’s moved past the level of a Kage already.

Himawari Uzumaki

The New Tailed Beast

Many fans were surprised to see Himawari Uzumaki playing a significant role in Boruto’s story, especially since she wasn’t a major character in the original series. It’s now revealed that Himawari possesses incredible power due to Kurama’s spirit being reborn within her. But she’s not simply a host for Kurama – she’s actually become a vessel for the Tailed Beast’s very essence, making her far more powerful.

Eida

The Omnipotence User

Eida remains one of the strongest characters in Boruto. She inherited the abilities of Shibai Otsutsuki, including the Senrigan and a form of omnipotence. This combination gives her nearly limitless power, making her virtually unbeatable – even a high-ranking Kage wouldn’t stand a chance against her.

The Big Boruto Villain

Code was initially presented as the primary antagonist following Isshiki Otsutsuki’s defeat, but hasn’t quite become the threat fans anticipated. Despite this, he remains incredibly powerful, particularly after unlocking his full potential. He’s constantly striving to become even stronger and has already surpassed the level of most Kage.

Kashin Koji

Boruto’s Teacher

From the start of Boruto, Kashin Koji demonstrated power exceeding that of most Kage, so it’s not surprising he’s even stronger now. While it’s unclear how he’s improved during the time skip, he was already capable of perfectly using Sage Mode and fighting effectively against opponents like Isshiki Otsutsuki – making him significantly more powerful than any Kage.

Boruto Uzumaki

Konoha’s Secret Protector

Konohagakure is home to many talented young ninjas, but the most powerful one is actually an exile. Boruto Uzumaki has become incredibly strong during the recent time jump, and he’s already capable of battling and defeating some members of the Otsutsuki clan. He received rigorous training from Sasuke, mastering the Uchiha fighting style, and from Kashin Koji, where he learned skills from different eras.

Boruto’s Equal

Kawaki and Boruto are developing similar levels of power. Because Kawaki has Isshiki Otsutsuki’s Karma, many expected him to be incredibly strong, and now any restrictions placed on his abilities have been lifted. He’s become so powerful that he can even fight effectively against someone like Jura, making him a significant threat.

Sarada Uchiha

The Future Hokage

Sarada was destined to become one of the strongest characters in Boruto, and the story has proven that to be true. Many fans already know how powerful Sarada is, particularly since she unlocked her Mangekyo Sharingan. She’s even strong enough to defeat a Shinju, and she’s still growing stronger – we haven’t seen everything she can do yet.

Damon

The Unbeatable Prodigy

I’ve been thinking about the most powerful characters in Boruto, and Damon is definitely up there. Like Eida, he carries the DNA of Shibai Otsutsuki, which makes him incredibly difficult to defeat. What’s really amazing is that Damon can automatically reflect any attack back at whoever threw it, and he doesn’t even need to be consciously aware of it! He’s a truly formidable fighter, and easily one of the strongest characters in the series.

Shinju

The Strongest Bunch

The Shinju are a newly introduced group in the Boruto series, and they’re incredibly powerful. Even when they first appeared, they were as strong as some of the most formidable characters we’ve seen. All of the Shinju possess immense strength, exceeding that of the Kage. The strongest among them, Jura, is significantly more powerful than any opponent shown in Boruto up to this point.
