Players must collect a specific quantity of hints hidden inside glass containers as they progress through the stage. Gathering sufficient information will enable them to decipher the combination for the safe, unveiling a concealed section of the Thievius Raccoonus.
Typically, it provides players with a fresh, entertaining skill set like slowing down time or electrically propelling themselves, which can feel like enjoyable shortcuts when used strategically. Consequently, every stealthy mission becomes incredibly rewarding.
9 Celeste

To start, we’ll tackle a series of collectibles on the platform, which are more challenging to find compared to most items on this collection.
Yet, the challenge of collecting every single strawberry along your journey up Celeste Mountain adds a sense of fulfillment. These sweet berries can be found hidden in various sections throughout your climb, with some being relatively simple to find, but many others demanding exceptional skill in platforming.
Each strawberry in the game is subtly positioned a bit away from the usual path, encouraging players to fully grasp and skillfully apply all of Celeste’s movement techniques.
Celeste is already a pretty tough game just to finish, but we assure you, going the extra mile to grab every strawberry feels super satisfying, and you might even unlock some secrets for your efforts.

In a close call, we found ourselves torn between the rich collection of gems, the iconic Dragon Statues from the initial Spyro release, and the Dragon Eggs from the third installment. However, after careful consideration, we believe that the Dragon Eggs slightly take the lead as our favorite element.
In Spyro’s final PlayStation 1 journey, you’ll need to locate and collect every hidden dragon egg strewn across the realm in order to advance the plot and ultimately vanquish the malevolent Sorceress.
Regardless if it’s by finishing a stage, unraveling a riddle, enjoying a quick mini-game, or discovering them during thorough exploration, collecting every egg feels satisfying.
What truly sets these eggs apart is the distinctive dragon names and animations that emerge when you gather them. These dragons are adorable, turning each egg collected into a delightful treasure.
7 Fallout
Bobbleheads
In many games, collectibles often serve no real purpose other than being picked up casually, or they function as obstacles that require a specific number of items to be accumulated in order to advance.
In certain games, you’ll find items known as collectibles that aren’t essential to complete the game but offer extra advantages during gameplay. These incentives naturally drive players to hunt for them. A fantastic illustration of this concept is the bobbleheads in Fallout.
These adorable miniature figurines, known as Bobbleheads, bring joy amidst a harsh, post-apocalyptic landscape. What truly sets them apart, though, is their ability to significantly boost your primary Special and skill attributes when collected.

In subsequent stages, gathering the letters for ‘Combo’ turned out to be quite rewarding, reminiscent of a compact treasure hunt. It will undoubtedly stir up feelings of nostalgia for those who experienced Birdman’s meteoric rise to fame.
5 Ape Escape

Generally speaking, collectibles are items suspended in the air, often found during gameplay as you traverse through various levels.
Or imagine if your collectibles were to retaliate, causing a bit of trouble for you? In such a case, they might resemble the monkeys from the game titled “Ape Escape”.
To capture these playful monkeys, we’ll require a large net, but it seems they prefer not to cooperate and make quite the fuss instead.
Occasionally, you might have to employ your reliable detection device to locate them, or maybe you’ll utilize a Loop or a Whirlygig to access monkeys in tricky spots that are out of reach.
Catching them is a real battle, but that’s what makes this collectible hunt so phenomenally fun.
4 The Elder Scrolls

While these objects may not fit the standard definition of collectibles, given their recurring presence in every version of The Elder Scrolls series, it could be acceptable to consider them as such, right?

These tasks can sometimes prove quite challenging, so it’s important to familiarize yourself with the land, whether it’s Cyrodiil, Skyrim, or any other place you end up in, before attempting to wrestle with a Daedric deity. They are often elusive compared to most challenges.
3 Kingdom Hearts 3

Without hesitation, I must express my disappointment in finding Kingdom Hearts 3 underwhelming, given the long wait of more than ten years for a new installment in the mainline series.
Nevertheless, although it didn’t live up to everyone’s expectations as a top performer, this Disney-inspired spectacle did boast some fascinating features, and one of these intriguing aspects was the Mickey Emblems.
Through the game’s photographic feature, players will be asked to explore their surroundings, identify objects resembling King Mickey’s ears, and capture these items using the game’s camera angle.
Among the subtly complex riddles found in gaming, these rank among the smartest and satisfying I’ve encountered. In contrast to the tedium of tracking down every last Dalmatian, this is a far more engaging pursuit.
2 Hollow Knight
Grubs
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but express my admiration for the nearly unparalleled experience offered by the timeless Metroidvania gem, Hollow Knight. This game is renowned for its challenging Souls-like gameplay and formidable boss encounters, yet it’s the hidden depth that truly captivates those who delve deeper. Beneath the surface lies a heartwarming tale of rescue, as one must save a multitude of adorable grubs scattered throughout the game world.
In the Forgotten Crossroads, the missing Grub’s father will assign you a quest to locate him, and upon successful completion, he will reward you generously with Geo and other valuable items.
That being said, finding them isn’t easy, and will take you right into the pits of Deepnest, the most perilous districts of the City of Tears, and beyond. Inevitably leading to a fight with The Collector, the other bug in Hallownest hellbent on finding all these adorable jarred insects.
Keep in mind, however. Gathering them completely might lead to an experience unlike any other, a word of caution I extend to you.
1 Astro Bot
