Although vital during that period, Shining Force slowly became obsolete and disappeared from the market, taking Max’s tale with it.

In a secluded village, years after a devastating catastrophe that left the world in a state bordering on post-apocalyptic, our protagonist with electric blue hair embarks on their adventure following an attack on their home. The goal is to revive sacred trees and bring tranquility back to the planet. Although this character doesn’t speak, they exude a sense of calmness. However, the game’s distinct combat system and perhaps its niche appeal contributed to it not gaining widespread popularity, leaving Vahn as an almost forgotten hero.

7 Ryu (Breath Of Fire)

Though Yuri Hyuga stands out among JRPG heroes for his distinctiveness and allure, he is frequently overlooked due to the absence of new games within the franchise for quite some time, giving way to other leading characters.
