In these camps, much like all of Villedor, there’s an abundance of platforms suitable for climbing and structures designed for scaling – offering the player a chance to exhibit their agility through parkour.

Just like its predecessor, I’ve found myself back in the grips of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, this time diving headfirst into a walled-off piece of Washington D.C., a city overrun by chaos in a post-apocalyptic America. This time around, the game is divided into distinct zones that I need to traverse and take control from various factions. It’s like a modern-day conquest, but with a whole lot more high-tech gear and enemies!

Players have a variety of classes and skills at their disposal, allowing them to conquer Control Zones and discover safe havens within the shattered metropolis of Washington D.C., seeking a glimmer of tranquility amidst the chaos.

Additionally, there are zones shrouded in darkness – regions that are too perilous for players to overpower due to concealed threats such as formidable adversaries and Rogue Agents, who flourish amidst the tumult of Player versus Player (PvP) conflicts. However, if your aim is to secure top-tier loot, then the Dark Zone stands alone as the ideal destination.

6. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

During the Peloponnesian War, the game “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” places you in the shoes of either Alexios or Kassandra, a Greek mercenary who has the freedom to join forces with Athens or Sparta, or even navigate both sides.

As an eager gamer, when an area becomes sufficiently weakened, I’ve got the chance to leap into a conquest battle, where I can choose to fight on either the offensive or defensive team. Winning a battle, regardless of which side I’m on, will earn me rewards. However, taking up the challenge on the attacking side is tougher, but the spoils are definitely worth it – better loot awaits those who dare!

5. Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor

A Crusade Against Sauron

On his mission to defeat Sauron and his evil followers, the solitary hero Talion embarks on a quest for vengeance over the loss of his family. Journeying through the desolate landscapes of Middle Earth, he gradually moves nearer to his target, eliminating Uruks along the way step by step.

In addition to its unique nemesis system and fierce battles, the game Shadow of Mordor offers an expansive environment where Mordor’s barren landscapes are filled with numerous orc camps and roaming patrols.

Above all, it’s crucial that Talion is able to sneak into these encampments and discover Forge Towers. Once activated, these towers will provide respawn and fast-travel options, enabling Talion to swiftly rejoin the battle if an unexpected orc manages to defeat him.

Reconnecting America

In a casual, engaging manner: Despite being jokingly labeled as a “walking game,” Death Stranding offers a depth that goes beyond this simple categorization. The narrative revolves around Sam Porter Bridges, who embarks on an unwilling mission to restore connections between a divided America, where people have largely retreated into underground shelters.

As you journey through the land, delivering packages is only part of the mission. You’ll also gather necessary materials to construct roads, bridges, and various facilities that will significantly improve the lives of your unseen fellow porters.

Even though Death Stranding may appear dull at first glance, it compensates by offering a strong feeling of camaraderie amidst its desolate setting.

In essence, Death Stranding appears to be a solo player experience, yet it incorporates multiplayer aspects that enable you to interact with servers of other gamers.

In a unique and unconventional way, I don’t have face-to-face encounters with them, but their presence is palpable within the game world I explore. They leave behind distinctive landmarks, such as architectural marvels, and offer motivational words to spur me on during my virtual journey across America.

Rather than conquering America, you bring its people together by creating life and essential facilities in a once desolate environment.

3. Ghost Of Tsushima

Drive The Mongols Back

The acclaimed game, Ghost of Tsushima, truly lives up to its praise. With breathtaking vistas and exhilarating battles, this Game of the Year recipient boasts a sprawling map that’s rewarding to traverse and conquer.

In Jin Sakai’s battle against the invading Mongol army led by Khotun Khan, he might come across settlements such as villages and towns that are under control of his adversaries or taken advantage of by rogue groups.

Besides serving as quick travel spots on your map upon their release, these areas may also house settlements that offer shopping options and resources, enabling you to strengthen your campaign against the Mongols.

After these areas are freed, I’ll have the privilege of reveling in small triumphs, as displaced villagers express gratitude towards Lord Sakai for his relentless work. As they return to rebuild their homes, the settlements will burst with renewed energy and vibrancy, a sight that was missing before.

2. The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

Ultimate Open World

Deciding between Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild was quite challenging, but in the end, Tears of the Kingdom stands out as it seems like an enhanced version of Breath of the Wild.

In the ongoing struggle against Ganondorf’s wicked schemes (yet another time), Link may stumble upon shrines, Skyview towers, and various swift-travel locations throughout the game. These spots will simplify movement significantly.

Additionally, there are hidden sections deep within Hyrule where shining a light on certain parts of the map will uncover expansive, unexplored underground caverns.

For Libertad!

Just like every Far Cry game starting from the third version, Far Cry 6 includes military strongholds that you need to seize control of in order to broaden your domain.

Dani needs to capture these outposts to grow their rebellion against Anton Castillo’s government. They can achieve this either by using raw power to explode structures, or employing subtle strategies like covertly damaging the enemy camp with intelligence and guile.

In simpler terms, freeing Forward Operating Bases (FND) in the game opens up quick-travel locations, while the rebel group, Libertad Guerrillas, found in the region, can tag important sites on your map as you delve deeper into the island of Yara during exploration.
