Pagan Min is the main antagonist in Far Cry 4. He’s dangerous, powerful, and bizarrely well-spoken.

Apart from his distinct style in apparel, he exhibits an appreciation for quality service as well. Within the opening moments of “Far Cry 4”, he invites you to indulge in a meal, but quickly steps away to inflict pain on an unfortunate individual elsewhere.

You never know what Pagan Min will do next, and the story is all the more enjoyable because of him.

Pagan Min may fall short of Vaas’s infamy in the prequel, but he’s a top-tier villain all the same.

9 Jeremy – The First Descendant

A Human Motive

Among the diverse reasons we attribute to our villains on this list, Jeremy’s is particularly resonant due to its familiarity: it’s Jealousy.

Characters within “The First Descendant” are all individuals referred to as Descendants, capable of interacting with a peculiar entity named “The Guide,” a powerful artificial intelligence.

Jeremy doesn’t conform to the usual situation. Instead of following the rule, he dislikes it intensely! Regardless of your actions, he often vents his anger on the participant as well as other descendants, before eventually acting independently and handling things himself.

I won’t spoil his fate here, but he’s picked up quite a fanbase despite his behavior.

It might appear that Jeremy is an unusual selection, but he is universally disliked by every member of the TFD team whenever they encounter him. Such widespread antipathy certainly makes for a compelling portrayal of a villain.

Although Jeremy doesn’t appear as a player character in The First Descendant, there are still numerous Descendants that are definitely worth exploring.

The witty and chaotic banter from GLaDOS after escaping the Chambers is priceless. As a player, you eagerly anticipate hearing from her again, and many of her lines have become famous and widely shared as memes.

In the sequel, Valve continues to develop GLaDOS’ artificial intelligence even more, making her an indispensable part of these remarkable puzzle-shooter games.

7 Dr. Neo Cortex – Crash Bandicoot

However, no matter how smart he’s supposed to be, Cortex just can’t seem to handle Crash! His schemes get more outlandish as you progress through the series, leaving me shaking my head in disbelief.

Dr. Neo Cortex might consider eliminating Crash Bandicoo and his companions by destroying their planet from space. However, since he is unknowingly dealing with highly flammable creatures, it’s amusing to witness his schemes constantly backfire.

6 Vamp – Metal Gear Solid 2

Hell Had No Vacancies

In Metal Gear Solid 2, Vamp’s introduction is uniquely chilling, a feat masterfully executed by the creative genius that is Hideo Kojima.

He’s a wizard with knives and sucks his victims dry after he kills them. Vamp is fascinating because you never really know what he’s capable of.

In contrast to my fellow Dead Cell comrades, the adversaries from Metal Gear Solid 2, Vamp, here’s the kicker – he’s not just bulletproof, he takes bullets to the dome and keeps on trucking. And get this, he can dance around bullets like they ain’t even there. But wait, there’s more! This guy, he walks on water, as if it’s nothing more than a stroll in the park. Crazy, huh?

He’s such a badass they even brought him back in Metal Gear Solid 4. Vamp is an enigmatic, ice-cold killer and a great addition to the MGS roster of unique villains.

5 Lady Dimitrescu – Resident Evil: Village

You Stupid Man Thing!

Among the unforgettable antagonists in the “Resident Evil” franchise, none stand out quite like Lady Dimitrescu.

In the game Diablo 4, Lilith stands out as a formidable adversary, and it’s debatable that she is the most malevolent character in the series. Her motives are intentionally unclear, but it’s evident that her goal is to dethrone both Heaven and Hell.

The Daughter of Hatred’s words are poison, and you can see the effects of her influence throughout the entire game. Lilith promises things like power and knowledge, and any takers quickly meet an untimely end.

Above all, Lilith appears particularly heartless. She manipulates a young man into transforming into a demon, setting the stage for you to deliver the fatal blows. This, in turn, causes the father immense distress and anguish.

Sanctuary has never been a nice place, and that’s not about to change in the latest installment.
