A trustworthy source has revealed two cute LEGO sets designed for Easter decorations. These sets are expected to be available for a short period in March as a special bonus with LEGO purchases.
LEGO often includes free gifts with purchases (GWPs) when customers spend a certain amount or buy specific LEGO sets. These promotions have been around for about 15 years, with a 2011 Star Wars promotion being one of the first popular examples. While there’s no set pattern, GWPs usually only last for a couple of weeks, and LEGO introduces new ones several times each month.

A new leak from LEGO insider ninjago_snsjaco details two upcoming gifts with purchase (GWPs): the 40916 Floral Picture Frame and the 40890 Easter Decorations. The Floral Picture Frame is expected to be available starting around March 9th, and the Easter Decorations will be offered from March 17th to 26th. Both GWPs will require a minimum purchase: the Easter Decorations with a €75 spend, and the Floral Picture Frame with a €150 spend. For shoppers in the US, these thresholds will likely be around $90 and $175, respectively, as most LEGO promotions are global.

The recently revealed packaging for LEGO set 40890 Easter Decorations indicates it’s a build geared towards older builders, recommended for ages 7 and up, and contains 312 pieces. It’s designed more as a display piece than a toy, offering a collection of decorative models. The set includes six separate builds – rabbits, chickens, flowers, and eggs – each meant to be displayed on its own. All the models share a similar, soft color scheme of lavender, green, yellow, blue, and pink, fitting with the Easter and springtime theme.

We’ve seen mentions of another upcoming LEGO gift-with-purchase set, the 40916 Floral Picture Frame, in previous leaks about the Botanicals line. However, this is the first time anyone has actually shown pictures of it. Designed for ages nine and up, the 310-piece set is a brick-built photo frame for standard-sized photos. It’s colored in light tan and beige to look like natural wood, keeping with the neutral style of the Botanicals collection and making it suitable for any room. The flowers around the frame aren’t arranged symmetrically; instead, they create a more natural, uneven look, with more flowers at the bottom and smaller blossoms and leaves extending upwards and to the left. The frame includes a small base so it can stand on its own.
Okay, LEGO fans, get ready! There’s a super cool limited-edition set coming out this Friday, February 26th – it’s the 40911 Pokemon Center! You’ll need to be a LEGO Insiders member to get it, and it’ll cost 2,500 points. That basically means you need to spend around $385 to redeem it, though keep an eye out for those double-points promotions that could bring that down! Honestly, knowing how quickly other LEGO Pokemon sets have sold out, I don’t think this one will be around for long, so be ready to snag it when it drops!
