Release windows for two upcoming Xbox games have been revealed, suggesting they’ll both launch next year. We already know release dates for major games like 007 First Light, Resident Evil Requiem, Code Vein 2, and, most notably, Grand Theft Auto 6 which is set to launch on November 19, 2026. Now, information about the release timing for two more Xbox-exclusive games has been leaked.

Xbox Game Studios has several exciting games planned for release through 2026, including installments in some of its most popular franchises. Microsoft has already announced a remake of the original Halo, known as Halo: Combat Evolved, which will surprisingly be the first Halo game available on PlayStation. Fans can also look forward to a new Forza Horizon 6 racing game and the long-awaited return of the Fable series after over ten years. Recent rumors suggest we now have potential release windows for both the newest Forza game and a completely new game from Xbox.

Meanwhile, fans noticed that former inXile writer Nathan Long listed Clockwork Revolution as a 2026 project on his LinkedIn profile, potentially hinting at its release window as well.

Although we haven’t seen actual gameplay yet, Xbox has been dropping hints about the upcoming Forza Horizon 6. The game will largely take place in Japan, letting players explore iconic spots like Mount Fuji, Hokkaido, and Tokyo. It’s rumored to have the biggest map in the series so far. Microsoft has highlighted the variety of landscapes, from winding mountain roads and open highways to the bustling city streets of Tokyo. Like Forza Horizon 5, the new game is also confirmed to be available on PlayStation 5. As a big fan of inXile, I’m really excited about Clockwork Revolution! It’s cool to see them working closely with Xbox Game Studios – remember Microsoft bought them back in 2018, along with Obsidian? This new game sounds amazing: it’s an action RPG set in a steampunk version of Victorian England.
