As of now, we’ve got four games set to join the Xbox Game Pass in May 2025. Subscribers can expect fresh games monthly. The initial four months of the year have been packed with thrilling new additions to the Game Pass library, especially for Ultimate and PC Game Pass tier members who got to play many day one releases.

As an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, I’ve had the privilege to play some amazing day one releases like “Avowed” by Obsidian Entertainment, the recently dropped “South of Midnight”, and the highly-praised puzzle game “Blue Prince”. There are even more exciting day one games lined up for Xbox Game Pass this year, with at least four coming next month.

For the upcoming Xbox Game Pass lineup in May 2025, Microsoft hasn’t disclosed all the games yet, but they have announced at least four titles: “Revenge of the Savage Planet” on May 8th, “Doom: The Dark Ages” on May 15th, “To a T” on May 28th, and “Spray Paint Simulator,” which currently doesn’t have a release date. The Xbox Game Pass May 2025 collection is already shaping up to be diverse, promising an exciting month for the subscription service.

Coming up next from the mind behind “Katamari Damacy”, we have “To a T“, a unique game about a teenager whose body is frozen in the T-pose position. Lastly, “Spray Paint Simulator” lives up to its title, offering an immersive gaming experience centered around spray-painting.

In May 2025, there are expected to be additional games added to these four, but the specific titles have not been disclosed yet. For now, we can look forward to some Xbox Game Pass games that will arrive after May 2025. The survival game “The Alters” is set for release on June 13, followed by “Rematch”, a new multiplayer soccer game from the developers of “Sifu”, launching on June 19.
