5 best Black Ops 6 Zombies guns: Class setups

As a seasoned Zombies enthusiast who’s survived countless nights against hordes of the undead, let me tell you about my top three favorite weapons in Black Ops 6 that have saved my bacon more times than I can count!

Whether you’re gearing up for Terminus or Liberty Falls, here are the top five class setups for Black Ops 6 Zombies.

As a hardcore Call of Duty Zombies gamer, I remember the thrill of starting out with just a pistol and a knife in the old games, scouring for better weapons either from the wall or the Mystery Box. However, in Black Ops 6, they’ve streamlined things for us by letting players set up a custom loadout with eight attachments before each round, making gameplay more personalized and efficient!

Additionally, players can utilize Essence to elevate weapon damage as rarity grows at Armament Workshops or attach ammo modifications. Notably, no Zombies adventure is fully satisfying without the Pack-a-Punch station, where it increases damage and ammo capacity while infusing special effects.

While all weapons can be upgraded, certain choices really shine above the rest.

5. Marine SP

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Full Choke
  • Barrel: Combat Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Lightweight Foregrip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

In the world of Zombies, shotguns are often preferred because they deal a lot of damage and are efficient against multiple enemies at once. When it comes to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, there are two exceptional shotguns available upon release, making them excellent choices for players.

In the process of Pack-a-Punching, the Marine Shotgun transforms into the Bakunawa – a change inspired by Philippine folklore. This enhanced shotgun not only does away with its previously sluggish reload speed but also delivers some of the highest damage rates per second in the game mode.

Our loadout emphasizes enhancing the weapon’s fire rate, hip-fire accuracy, mobility, and control.

4. AS VAL

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Barrel: Suppressed Reinforced Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Recoil Springs

In multiplayer games, assault rifles (ARs) and submachine guns (SMGs) are typically the preferred weapons. Yet, they struggle in Zombies mode because they have lower damage rates per second and smaller ammo capacities. Interestingly, the AS VAL is an exception to this trend, boasting the quickest time-to-kill in Black Ops 6.

In advanced stages of play, opponents will likely find it straightforward to slice through them using the AS VAL. This is particularly true after enhancing it with Pack-a-Punch. It’s advisable to outfit it with Extended Mag II to increase ammo capacity and primarily fill the remaining attachment slots with options that minimize recoil.

3. LR 7.62

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Underbarrel: Lightweight Handguard
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Stock: Balanced Stock
  • Laser: Sterlok Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

Even though seasoned Zombie gamers might find this list unimpressive, Black Ops 6 houses a sniper rifle worth noting – the LR 7.62. However, it’s not particularly outstanding because of its sluggish reloading speed and limited efficiency against numerous opponents.

Instead, after using Pack-a-Punch on the LR 7.62, it acquires a special trait that turns its bullets into explosive ones. Unlike a typical sniper rifle, this enhanced model doesn’t just shoot single shots; it actually fires grenades powerful enough to eliminate hordes of Zombies.

Upgrading our equipment markedly boosts the shooting speed, expands the bullet storage, and enhances the agility of the rifle. Purchasing the PhD Flopper Perk-a-Cola when wielding this weapon is essential, as it safeguards you from potentially fatal splash damage.

2. GS45

  • Barrel: CHF Barrel
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Stock: Akimbo GS45
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

Among the most iconic weapons in Call of Duty Zombies, the Mustang & Sally stands out. In previous versions, the M1911 was generally perceived as the least potent pistol. However, once Pack-a-Punched, it metamorphoses into a pair of powerful Akimbo Mustang & Sally pistols that shoot grenades instead of regular bullets.

Treyarch brings back the Mustang & Sally gun model with the GS45, delivering the powerful shots fans are familiar with. If you can handle its basic version and upgrade its rarity, you’ll unlock one of the game’s top weapons. Alternatively, if you’re willing to be patient and save up enough money, you can purchase it directly at a rarity of 5 in later rounds, offering a more straightforward choice.

1. ASG-89

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Full Choke
  • Barrel: CHF Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag II
  • Stock: Light Stock
  • Laser: Steady Aim Laser
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

In Black Ops 6 Zombies, there’s no superior weapon to the ASG-89; many legendary weapons struggle to match up. This reliable semi-automatic shotgun boasts high damage-per-second, making quick work of zombies.

With this setup, Rapid Fire is indispensable since it speeds up the shotgun’s firing speed and enhances its magazine size. The ASG-89 proves to be an excellent option for lone players, excelling at clearing large groups while also inflicting heavy damage on individual targets. Unlike most area-impacting weapons, this one makes a remarkable exception when facing off against bosses.
