Videl’s story changed direction, and she became primarily a mother, leaving her fighting days behind. While she’s no longer a central fighter, she remains a likable character through her unwavering support of Gohan and her positive attitude.

Overall, Chi-Chi is an incredibly devoted and caring wife. While she pushes Gohan hard to focus on his studies, it stems from her desire for him to have a safe and peaceful life, away from the dangers of fighting. Even after Goku passed away, she remained hopeful for his return, proving she’s a truly supportive and steadfast partner.
Yamcha Is Actually Just A Really Chill Dude
The Punching Bag of the Story
Yamcha has long been the butt of jokes within the main cast of Dragon Ball. While he didn’t become a major player or get much stronger after the Saiyan Saga, he’s remained a background character, mostly known for being the target of humor rather than having a significant role in the story.
Seeing Yamcha now, especially considering how far he’s come in Super, is genuinely heartwarming. He’s stopped trying to compete with the strongest fighters and is happily living his life as a baseball player, even though he remains incredibly strong. His eagerness to support his friends, regardless of their power levels, makes him one of the most laid-back and likable characters in the series.
