Starfield
Terran Armada, Coming April 7
Okay, so Starfield is seriously getting even better! April is looking like a huge month for the game – it’s the biggest since it first came out. Not only are they finally bringing it to PS5, but we’re also getting the massive ‘Terran Armada’ expansion on all platforms in a couple of weeks, plus a free update called ‘Free Lanes’. Honestly, there are so many reasons to jump back in, and let me tell you, ‘Terran Armada’ is packed with content – a lot of content.
The new Terran Armada story DLC introduces a powerful army of robots determined to forcibly unite humanity throughout the Settled Systems. Players will experience a new questline to uncover the robots’ reasons and objectives, and can also recruit Delta, a reprogrammed robot from the Terran Armada, to fight alongside them against his former allies.
The Terran Armada DLC introduces a new Incursion system – random events that occur throughout the Settled Systems. These Incursions are part of the DLC’s story and offer replayable combat challenges with different goals and valuable rewards. Players can choose whether or not to participate in these Incursions as they appear on the star map. Beyond the Incursion system, Terran Armada also includes a wealth of new content, such as Terran ships, modules, and blueprints, plus new gear like weapons and space suits. You’ll also find new elite crew members, including the customizable ModelG mini-bot, and options to upgrade and decorate your outposts.
Atomic Heart
Blood on Crystal, Coming April 16
Atomic Heart has received excellent support since its release, and the final piece of downloadable content, Blood on Crystal, launched on April 16th. This DLC promises an exciting ending to the game’s story and also acts as a link to the upcoming Atomic Heart 2, effectively concluding the first game’s narrative.
As a big fan of Atomic Heart, I’m really excited about the Blood on Crystal expansion! From what I’ve read, it’s a whole new story that takes you deeper into the world, specifically to the super-secret levels of Facility 3826. You play as P-3 and explore this new area called the Wave Platform, and a really mysterious place called the Crystal Complex. Apparently, you’ll be fighting these new enemies, the Polymorphs, which can change into different elemental forms – sounds tough! Luckily, the developers are adding new abilities for your gloves and some seriously powerful weapons. They’re even saying these will be the hardest, most intense boss battles we’ve ever seen in Atomic Heart, and I can’t wait to try them!
Though not as large in scope as Starfield’s Terran Armada, Blood on Crystal is a welcome addition for existing fans of this sci-fi shooter. It’s also a great way for new players to jump in, as it’s included in the Atomic Heart Ultimate Edition, which contains all of the game’s released content from the past three years.
Fit the 9 games into the grid.

Diablo 4
Lord of Hatred, Coming April 28
The initial reception to Diablo 4’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, was underwhelming, so a lot of hope now rests on Lord of Hatred to deliver the improvements players were expecting. It’s still uncertain if Blizzard will be able to consistently meet player expectations, but Lord of Hatred is a large and ambitious update that promises significant changes to the game.
The Lord of Hatred expansion introduces two new playable classes: the popular Paladin and the brand-new Warlock. Players can immediately experience a compelling new campaign as one of these classes, set in the all-new region of Skovos – the ancient homeland of the first civilization and former residence of Lilith and Inarius. The expansion also adds a wealth of new content and activities, including dungeons, monsters, items, crafting options, and powerful set bonuses, ensuring plenty to keep players engaged.
The Lord of Hatred expansion will significantly update Diablo 4, especially the endgame. Players can look forward to features like craftable War Plans to customize their progression and Echoing Hatred, a new area filled with demons to defeat. Developers have focused on improving customization and build options for every class with reworked Skill Trees, new skill variations, and an increased level cap. Plus, Lord of Hatred includes everything from the Vessel of Hatred expansion, including the brand-new Spiritborn class and the Nahantu region to explore.
Destiny 2
Shadow and Order, Coming June 9
The upcoming Shadow and Order update for Destiny 2 has been significantly reworked and delayed, leading to a name change (the new name hasn’t been announced yet). This is because Bungie is adding more content and features, along with improvements to the overall game experience. The current release date remains unchanged.
The features we previously announced aren’t quite accurate anymore. The developers said they’ll share the specific details closer to when the update actually comes out. Originally, Shadow and Order was planned as a typical update with new things to do, challenging missions, better gear, and rewards to keep players engaged. It will also include significant improvements to the game’s core systems, adjustments to character abilities, and a better experience for finding and upgrading gear, all designed to work well with the recent Renegades expansion.
The new update, Shadow and Order, is free for all Destiny 2 players and includes general improvements, adjustments to game modes, and better options for customizing your character and playstyle. Destiny 2 updates have been hit or miss – some, like The Witch Queen and The Final Shape, have been excellent, while others (The Edge of Fate and Renegades especially) haven’t been as strong. Hopefully, future updates will be more impressive.
Dave the Diver
In The Jungle, Coming June 18
The popular indie game, Dave the Diver, is getting its first big downloadable content (DLC) pack, called In The Jungle, on June 18th. This new content will add over 10 hours of gameplay and story, introducing players to new locations and environments as Dave’s adventures extend beyond the ocean and the Blue Hole.
Dave and his team are heading to the jungle to open a new Bancho Grill restaurant in the village of Utara. They plan to create a fantastic menu and build strong relationships with the locals and future customers. However, the real adventure lies at nearby Freshwater Lake, which is full of unique wildlife and ingredients, but also hidden dangers and the mysterious remains of a lost underwater civilization.
The new Dave the Diver – In The Jungle expansion adds exciting missions, discoveries, and ways to play, making it a must-have for fans. It gives players even more to enjoy in this relaxing game, which is available on most modern gaming systems.
