The current arc of One Piece brings together the series’ most powerful characters in an all-out battle for control of the seas. Creator Eiichiro Oda has said this final part of the story will be much larger in scope than anything fans have seen before, and it’s the part he’s been most eager to illustrate.
As the story progresses, we’re definitely seeing the most compelling and powerful characters emerge. It makes sense, considering Devil Fruits are the main source of power in this world, that some of the strongest ones have already been revealed. Over the past few years, the author has introduced some incredibly powerful abilities, and a lot of them have quickly become fan favorites.
Susu Susu no Mi
- User: Karasu
- Type: Logia
In the anime and manga One Piece, the Susu Susu no Mi is a Devil Fruit possessed by Karasu, a commander in the Revolutionary Army. Karasu leads the Northern Army, and fans got a quick look at his fruit’s power during the Reverie arc. It seems to be a Logia-type Devil Fruit, meaning he can transform into and control soot.
Honestly, I’m still reeling from how incredible the Black-Black Fruit is! It’s not just about creating soot, but the fact that soot can completely incapacitate anyone – it’s seriously one of the strongest Devil Fruits we’ve ever seen in One Piece. The biggest proof? Karasu actually fought against Admiral Fujitora and held his own! That single moment really shows you just how unbelievably powerful this Fruit truly is. It’s mind-blowing!
Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Cerberus
- User: Shamrock’s Sword
- Type: Mythical Zoan
Although it doesn’t have an official name yet, it’s highly likely that Shamrock’s power comes from the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Cerberus Devil Fruit. However, Shamrock didn’t eat the fruit himself. Instead, he infused it into his sword, which is now called Cerberus, and displays the fruit’s abilities.
The Cerberus sword grants Shamrock control over a gigantic, already-awakened Cerberus. A single strike from the sword was powerful enough to make even Loki fear for his life. While the Cerberus’s full capabilities are still unknown, its immense strength as a Mythical Zoan type Devil Fruit clearly makes it one of the most formidable abilities introduced by Oda in the Final Saga.
Toshi Toshi no Mi
- User: Jewelry Bonney
- Type: Paramecia
The Toshi Toshi no Mi is a Devil Fruit of the Paramecia type. While it briefly appeared before the timeskip, its true power wasn’t revealed until the Egghead arc. Initially, fans thought it dealt with age, but it actually allows the user to manipulate the future.
The Toshi Toshi no Mi (Fruit) lets the user transform into any future they can imagine becoming real. But it works in reverse, too: if the user doubts a future, it becomes impossible for them to achieve it, leaving them powerless. This fruit is incredibly strong only for those with unwavering belief. For example, Bonney can transform into Sun God Nika because she firmly believes in Nika and knows it’s possible for her to become like him in another timeline.
Bonney’s ability also lets her transform into a Buccaneer, as she understands she can tap into this power from a different timeline. Essentially, her Devil Fruit’s potential is unlimited, making it one of the strongest fruits in the entire world of One Piece.
Loki’s Legendary Devil Fruit
- User: Loki
- Type: Unknown
One of the incredibly powerful Devil Fruits introduced in the final arc of One Piece belongs to Loki. Currently, the specifics of this fruit – even its abilities – are a mystery. However, it’s already been established that this Devil Fruit is legendary and among the strongest ever seen in the One Piece world.
Loki’s abilities have grown to the point where he could potentially obliterate Elbaf and even the entire world. He identifies himself as the Sun God, linking his power to the legends of Elbaf. However, fans suspect his strength doesn’t come from the Sun God Nika’s powers, but from a different, equally formidable ability within his Devil Fruit.
Imu’s Devil Fruit
- User: Imu
- Type: Unknown
Without a doubt, the most powerful Devil Fruit introduced in the final arc of One Piece belongs to Imu. While its name and exact abilities are still a mystery, Imu has been shown transforming into a massive creature, leading fans to believe it’s a Mythical Zoan type. We’ve also seen glimpses of its power, which appears to allow Imu to essentially compel anyone to obey them through a binding contract.
People who serve Imu gain incredible strength and live forever, but they lose their freedom and become his slaves. Imu can also use a power called Domi Reversi to turn others into demon slaves. What fans have seen so far is just a small part of Imu’s abilities, and his true power is likely far beyond anything they’ve imagined.
