Even though the Steam Machine isn’t available yet, many of our readers aren’t very excited about it. Almost half say they plan to buy one eventually, but most aren’t rushing to purchase it at launch. In fact, over 58% of respondents said they don’t plan to buy one at all.
The Steam Machine hasn’t taken off, possibly because the initial version didn’t perform well and was discontinued, or because people are hesitant to switch from what they already know. It remains to be seen if the Steam Machine can compete with established consoles, but gamers need more proof before they’ll fully embrace it.
