This article contains spoilers for One Piece.
Devil Fruits are a fascinating power source in Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece. Even after 28 years of the series, many aspects of them remain mysterious and are gradually being revealed.
Everyone knows Devil Fruits give people amazing abilities, but some are much stronger than others. A select few Devil Fruits are considered to be in a “God” class, granting their users powers that seem divine. While the final part of the One Piece story may share more details about these fruits, right now there are only a handful of confirmed God-level Devil Fruits.
Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu
Sengoku of the Marines One Piece - User: Sengoku
- Type: Mythical Zoan
The first Devil Fruit with god-like powers that One Piece fans were shown was Sengoku’s Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu. This fruit lets Sengoku transform into a giant, golden Buddha.
This Devil Fruit is incredibly powerful, and we’ve already seen glimpses of what it can do during the Summit War. While its full capabilities remain unknown, it allows Sengoku to generate devastating shockwaves. Though not a god in the traditional sense, the Buddha figure is revered as one and possesses immense power.
Yami Yami no Mi
Image by Toei Animation - User: Blackbeard
- Type: Logia
The Yami Yami no Mi is unique among non-Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits, often considered to be on the level of a God-type fruit. Blackbeard ate this fruit, and it gives him the incredible ability to steal the powers of others.
This Devil Fruit’s darkness is all-consuming, capable of pulling in anything – even other Devil Fruit users. This allows Blackbeard to negate any Devil Fruit ability and, crucially, to steal those powers for himself. He’s already demonstrated this by taking the power of the Gura Gura no Mi, and it’s implied he could steal other powerful abilities, like the Nika fruit.
Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami
- User: Yamato
- Type: Mythical Zoan
The Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami is a powerful Devil Fruit introduced in the Wano arc of One Piece. It’s a Mythical Zoan type, and was eaten by Yamato, one of Kaido’s children.
Yamato’s Devil Fruit allows her to transform into a powerful, ice-covered wolf, modeled after Wano Country’s guardian deity. We’ve seen this ability, called Okuchi no Makami, in action during her fight with Kaido, and it’s arguably one of the most impressive Mythical Zoan fruits we’ve witnessed in the series so far.
Loki’s Legendary Devil Fruit
- User: Loki
- Type: Unknown
Loki, also known as the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, has revealed information about the Devil Fruit he consumed. He claims it’s a legendary fruit called the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika.
It’s unlikely to be Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit, known as the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, but it might be another Devil Fruit with similar godly powers. While we don’t know exactly what this fruit is yet, it’s sure to be incredibly strong.
Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika

- Type: Mythical Zoan
The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is arguably the most significant Devil Fruit in the One Piece series. When fully mastered, it transforms the user into the legendary Warrior of Liberation, known as the Sun God Nika.
This Devil Fruit was long believed to be the Gomu Gomu no Mi, but Luffy’s awakening of its powers in Wano revealed its true identity: a Mythical Zoan type with virtually limitless potential, bound only by the user’s imagination.
Imu’s Legendary Devil Fruit
- User: Imu
- Type: Unknown
Currently, Imu is considered the strongest character in One Piece. While known for powerful Haki, Imu’s true strength lies in what appear to be god-like abilities. Though the specifics of their Devil Fruit power are unknown, it’s clearly one of the most formidable in the series. Many believe it to be a Mythical Zoan-type fruit granting divine powers, but this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
This unusual Devil Fruit grants Imu abilities similar to those of a mage. It lets them create powerful, unbreakable contracts that essentially enslave others, and also allows them to bestow enhancements on people through these agreements. It’s clear Imu’s powers are connected to the sea, and fans are eager to discover more about them.
