The Figarland family is a powerful and influential group, being one of the original 20 Founding Families of the World Government in One Piece. Currently, two members are known: Garling Figarland, who leads the Holy Knights and has recently become one of the Five Elders, and his twin brother, Shamrock Figarland, who commands the Holy Knights. Notably, Shamrock is also Shanks’s twin brother.

Shanks shares a bloodline with the Figarland family, but he’s deliberately distanced himself from them and forged his own destiny. Despite this, even with only Garling and Shamrock as members, the Figarland family is still incredibly powerful, ranking among the most formidable in the world.

Oars Family

The Oars family is incredibly strong, but they’re often overlooked by fans. This makes sense, considering the last prominent member, Little Oars Junior, appeared during the Summit War arc.

Currently, only two members of the Oars family are known: Oars and Little Oars Junior. This family has a lineage connected to the ancient giants, granting them incredible strength. The original Oars was famously known as the Continent Puller, a testament to his immense power. Shamrock previously stated that the Ancient Giants once ruled the New World, likely during Oars’ time. The Oars family would pose a significant threat, even to the powerful Figarlands.

Gol D. Family

In the world of One Piece, ‘Gol D.’ is a famous and important name, most notably associated with Gol D. Roger, who became the Pirate King. Roger’s immense power was essential to his success, and even before he reached his full potential – as shown in the events at God Valley – he was an incredibly formidable opponent.

Roger is the original Gol D. family member, and he had a son, Portgas D. Ace. While Ace isn’t officially part of the Gol D. lineage, together Roger and Ace would form an incredibly powerful family, potentially even stronger than families like the Garlings or the Shamrocks in One Piece.

Elbaf Royal Family

Elbaf is the homeland of the Giants and is famous for its incredibly powerful warriors. The Elbaf Royal Family leads these legendary fighters, and currently, three members are known: Harald, the former King; Loki, a prince known as the Accursed; and Hajrudin, who is part of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.

Harald and Loki were exceptionally powerful figures. Harald was considered an equal to Rocks D. Xebec and was renowned as the strongest king of Elbaf. Loki, on the other hand, was a formidable giant who could only be temporarily restrained by the entire population of Elbaf, with Shanks being the only one able to truly defeat him. Together, Harald, Loki, and Hajrudin would have been more than capable of defeating the Figarland family.

Davy D. Family

The name ‘Davy D.’ has a long and significant history, dating back to the mysterious Void Century. We first encountered the Davy family in the Long Ring Long Land arc. It belonged to Davy D. Jones, the former World King – a powerful figure who was even feared by Imu.

Davy D. Jones has a powerful lineage, with descendants as famous as he is. Rocks D. Xebec was a notoriously strong pirate, and his son, Blackbeard (also known as Davy D. Teach), is equally dangerous. Teach is considered one of the most formidable characters in the One Piece world. This family’s influence clearly surpasses even that of the Figarlands.

Monkey D. Family

The Monkey D. family includes the popular One Piece character, Monkey D. Luffy. While Luffy is strong, he may currently be the least powerful member of his family.

This family includes two other prominent figures: Monkey D. Garp, a Marine hero considered Roger’s equal, and Monkey D. Dragon, who is the World Government’s greatest enemy. With Luffy now awakened and possessing the powers of Nika during the Wano arc, the Monkey D. Family has become incredibly powerful and dangerous.

Nerona Family

Currently, the only known member of the Nerona family is Saint Imu Nerona. Even with just one known member, many fans believe this family is among the most powerful – and potentially the most powerful – in the world of One Piece.

Imu Nerona is secretly the ruler of the world and currently the most powerful character in One Piece. No one, not even the Figarland family, is strong enough to oppose them. In fact, Imu was the one who originally gave the Figarlands much of their power.
