Even though it was released some time ago, *X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse* remains a great game.

The game includes plenty of character conversations and puts you in a story where Braniac and Darkseid are threatening Earth. Levels are built for cooperative play, often requiring one player to handle enemies while the other completes a task. Similar to X-Men Legends, you can also upgrade your characters, unlock new costumes, and play as a variety of different characters.
The Wonderful 101: Remastered
One Hundred Heroes, One Controller (Or Two-To-Five)
While not connected to any established superhero universe, *The Wonderful 101* captures the excitement of team-based action and takes it to the extreme. Known for its smooth combat, the game lets up to five players team up locally in its “Unite” mode, bringing back the energetic, chaotic fun of classic arcade games.
While there’s no co-op story mode, you can enjoy separate co-op missions. What it lacks in story connection, it makes up for with hilarious humor and fun references to classic superhero and action shows. Combine that with exciting combos, weapon transformations, and over-the-top action, and you’ve got a recipe for a perfect, chaotic time playing with friends on the couch.
