In approximately two weeks, it’s been announced that Xbox Game Pass will be removing seven additional games from its subscription service. Among these departures are several well-known Role Playing Games (RPGs). Specifically, titles such as “Tales of Arise” and “Indivisible” will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on February 15. To ensure that players have a chance to complete their games or purchase them permanently, it’s advised they take action by either finishing their current progress or visiting the Microsoft Store to make a purchase before this date.
Users of the Xbox subscription service, known for frequently changing the games it offers, recently had to bid farewell to a group of games a few days back. Specifically, six games departed from Xbox Game Pass at the end of January, among them Red Hook Studios’ acclaimed Roguelike RPG titled Darkest Dungeon. However, last month also witnessed the addition of 13 new games to the service, including four that were released on the same day.
Among the games leaving Xbox Game Pass in mid-February, “Tales of Arise” stands out as one of the most anticipated. It belongs to Bandai Namco’s renowned Tales Of RPG series, known for combining traditional RPG elements like overworld exploration and puzzle-solving with real-time battle sequences. Released in September 2021, it received mostly positive reviews, scoring an 87 on Metacritic. If you haven’t finished playing “Tales of Arise” yet, you might want to act quickly because the main game takes around 30-35 hours to complete, and another 15-20 hours are needed for all side content.

On February 15th, another RPG titled “Indivisible,” developed by Lab Zero Games and published by 505 Games, will be departing from the subscription service. Alongside Indivisible, the following titles will also exit the service on the same date: action RPG “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night,” puzzle game “A Little to the Left,” auto battler “Merge & Blade,” and mystery adventure game “Return to Grace.” Lastly, “EA Sports UFC 3” from the popular series will also be leaving, with its latest edition ranking high in the Microsoft Store’s Top Paid category.
As for the games departing from the subscription service, their departure dates are finalized, but it’s unclear what new games will take their place. Currently, only two titles have been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in February 2025: Ubisoft’s Far Cry New Dawn on February 4 and Obsidian Entertainment’s Avowed on February 18. Notably, Avowed is a day-one release and an action RPG set in the same world as the Pillars of Eternity CRPG series. The other game is a first-person shooter spin-off of Far Cry 5, which was initially released in February 2019.
