Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
Netflix has a lot of fantasy adventure anime where heroes try to defeat a powerful demon. But Frieren is unique. It starts after the demon king is already defeated, and tells the story of what happens next through the eyes of a long-lived mage who isn’t very good at understanding emotions.
With the conclusion of Frieren Season 2, which continued the story after Fern became a First-Class mage, now is a great time for new viewers to start the series. Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in October 2027.
