Beyond all of that, the Elbaf arc introduced the incredibly popular character Prince Loki and finally revealed the danger posed by Imu. It created a feeling of impending doom, not just for the Straw Hat Pirates, but for the entire world, signaling the beginning of a massive war and a very bleak future. We also got a glimpse into the past, learning about the legendary Rocks D. Xebec and his crew’s story. Because of all this, the Elbaf arc is easily comparable to the Marineford arc, and many fans believe it’s even better.
Enies Lobby

Many fans consider the Enies Lobby arc to be just as impactful as the Marineford arc. It’s a thrilling rescue story where the Straw Hat Pirates travel to Enies Lobby, a government island, to save their friend Nico Robin. During the rescue, they face off against CP9, a notoriously strong and dangerous group.
Luffy and his crew risked everything to save a friend, truly demonstrating their bond and dedication. The Enies Lobby arc is consistently excellent from start to finish, without a single dull moment. Because of its incredible strength and emotional impact, it’s an arc that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with, and may even be better than, the epic Marineford saga.
Wano Country

The Wano Country arc is widely considered the best in One Piece. It beautifully showcases Japanese culture while telling a powerful story about hardship, control, conflict, and fighting back. For over twenty years, Wano has been under the cruel rule of the Beast Pirates, leaving the country in chaos and its people struggling to survive – even resorting to eating contaminated food. This arc particularly emphasizes Luffy’s identity as the Sun God Nika, as he rises up as a true liberator, defeating the powerful Yonko Kaido and finally freeing Wano from decades of oppression.
Luffy frees all the slaves in the country, and after 800 years, the legendary Sun God Nika reappears. This arc has huge implications for the overall story and features the best flashback in the series, detailing the life of Oden.
Watching the Onigashima arc in Wano Country has been incredible. The fights were just non-stop action – Luffy going head-to-head with Kaido, Law and Kid taking on Big Mom, Zoro battling King, and Sanji versus Queen were all highlights. But what really made it special was how Oda tied all that amazing combat into a story about a country struggling under oppression and fighting back. Honestly, I think it’s the best One Piece arc so far.
