Shibarium Faces Temporary Service Disruption
Today, renowned Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya revealed some news on the X platform (previously Twitter). He provided an update on the project’s progress, highlighting the challenges of maintaining a dependable network infrastructure amidst escalating demand and evolving tech landscapes.
After Shibarium’s debut in August last year, there have been several instances of network downtime. The initial setback for this platform was a major technical issue that caused its mainnet RPC to malfunction.
After a tough two-week adjustment process, Shibarium was reintroduced onto the main network. Since then, it has been operating smoothly. However, Kaal Dhairya revealed that networking issues among Shibarium’s validators led to a brief service interruption. These validators are essential organizations responsible for confirming transactions and maintaining the platform’s security.
After the network has been restored to its normal state, some features like Shibariumscan on the platform and external Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs) might remain inaccessible. The team is working diligently to address these lingering technical problems and restore these services.
