In the game titled “Blades of Fire”, the Seneschals are statues that hold unique weapons which provide bonus advantages. For instance, when a certain type of weapon is held, these bonuses could be upgrades to create various versions of the same weapon. The main character, Aran de Lira, can activate these Seneschals by wielding the identical weapon type. As a result, Aran gains the ability to craft stronger iterations of the same weapon by unlocking new hilts, blades, grips, and other components.
In Blades of Fire, enhancing your weapons with additional upgrades makes them more potent in battle and alters their performance according to their forging process, as Aran adopts distinct slashing and thrusting techniques. This guide will help you locate all the Seneschals hidden within Besacarr Hamlet.
Blades of Fire – Where to Find the Seneschals In Besacarr Hamlet
Swords Seneschal
Weapon Type | Swords |
---|---|
How To Unlock | Starting Weapon |
As Aran traverses the bridge, you’ll spot The Swords Seneschal on his left side. Attend to the Queen’s Hounds in that vicinity first, then proceed through the space between the two buildings to encounter The Swords Seneschal.
Give Aran a sword and set the statue in motion, upgrading his sword along the way, transforming it into an exceptional weapon that can instantly defeat opponents in battle, often referred to as the Blade of Fire‘s foes.
Spears Seneschal
Weapon Type | Spears |
---|---|
How To Unlock | Kill 10 Spearmen |
As I trigger the Sword Seneschal, I leap off the platform towards the left. There, I engage in combat with one of the Queen’s soldiers on the boardwalk. After defeating him, I turn right, where I find a slumbering soldier. To uncover a hidden space, I destroy the stack of logs beside him.
Advance past the opening, and you’ll find yourself facing Spears Senesdal. However, beware! A Marauder lies in wait to attack. Defeat it, and doing so will trigger Spears Senesdal, revealing additional components for your spear.
Twins Seneschal
Weapon Type | Twin Axes |
---|---|
How To Unlock | Kill 60 Axe-Wielding Undead in the Crimson Fort |
Following your acquisition of the Spears Seneschal, proceed northward and make a right turn at the hill located between the house and the cliff face. The Twins Seneschal, who carries two axes, can be found in this location.
If you’re new to Besacarr Hamlet, you currently don’t have the ability to use the Twin Axes. To gain access, you need to eliminate 60 Putrids carrying axes at the Crimson Fort first.
In the game “Blades of Fire”, the maps are created to facilitate repeated exploration. Don’t fret if you can’t immediately activate a Seneschal; should this happen, you can effortlessly find it again at a later time as it will continue to be marked on your map until you decide to utilize it.
Daggers Seneschal
Weapon Type | Twin Daggers |
---|---|
How To Unlock | Kill 30 Marauders |
Once you locate Twins Seneschal, veer towards its left side and keep going along the path to slay the guard residing in a hut. Next, turn right into a compact area featuring water, where you’ll face an attack by a water elemental. Overpower it using your spear or sword, with powerful swings from both sides.
To locate the Seneschal of the Daggers, search beneath the bridge. To obtain the forge scroll, eliminate 30 Marauders. Some can be found hidden inside houses within the Besacarr Hamlet area, while others are in the Hollow Plain region. Alternatively, you could repeatedly kill the one that respawns in the same room as the Spears Seneschal.
Polearms Arms Seneschal
Weapon Type | Polearms (Warhammers, War Axe, Hyssop) |
---|---|
How To Unlock | The first weapon Aran crafts in the Forge of the Gods |
In the divine blacksmith’s workshop, Aran will craft his initial weapon, known as the Hyssop. To unlock additional components for it, he should navigate towards the Troll River Anvil located to the south. Descend the gentle slope leading into the green expanse and subdue the guards stationed there.
In this location, you’ll encounter a miniboss known as the Mayhem Warmonger. Overcome him, then follow the narrow path to the left that winds down the hill towards a wooden house. There are two guards stationed in this area. Defeat them and engage the Polearm Seneschal to proceed further.
Greatsword Seneschal
Weapon Type | Greatswords |
---|---|
How To Unlock | Kill 60 Claymore-wielding undead in the Hollow Plain region |
If you feel exhausted, return to the Troll River Anvil for some rest. Afterward, head back to the gate area and turn right. Stop when you spot the Queen’s Hounds guarding and observing the swamp below. Take a right onto a narrow path behind the houses, and you’ll eventually encounter the Greatsword Seneschal.
You can get your first Greatsword, the Claymore, from the undead in the Hollow Plain region.
In the game, the Claymore might not be the fastest weapon, but it’s exceptionally effective among the early options. If used correctly, it can sever the heads of multiple foes with a single powerful strike.
