In Crystal of Atlan, players are offered multiple character types to select. Yet, each player has only a set number of character slots available. Upon reaching the game’s main menu, you might find that there’s no ‘delete character’ option.

Players should keep in mind that if they want to remove a character from the game, they need to approach a specific NPC bot and select the character they wish to delete. However, deleting a character doesn’t free up the slot right away, meaning players won’t be able to create a new character immediately after deletion. This is just one example of many details that new players might not initially understand, so exploring the game map thoroughly can help them navigate better.

How to Delete a Character in Crystal of Atlan

Players initially formulate a single character, but later opt for a different choice suitable for solo play. Now, they must eliminate one of their characters. To remove a character, players should log into the game using the selected character. Once logged in, navigate to the main town’s hub map and seek out the Account Management bot. This non-player character (NPC) can be traced to create a guiding light for the player to swiftly run towards.

If there is no Account Management Bot in the player’s current area, they can find one in Lumiville.

Head towards the NPC using the guiding light as your compass, engage with it, and find the “Delete Character” button. Once you confirm, your character will enter a 7-day safety mode, and then you’ll be redirected to the character selection menu.

During the Prohibited Utilization Phase, the figure can’t be employed. Once this phase concludes, the figure will be permanently erased.

Can You Stop the Deletion of a Character in Crystal of Atlan?

Absolutely, you have the power to prevent your selected character from being erased at any given moment. Please note that during a character’s Protection Period, you won’t be able to join the game with them. However, you can log in with another character and do so to halt the deletion of your chosen one. Then, return to the Account Management Bot, choose any character, and select the “I regret this decision” option.

Choosing “Confirm” here will initiate the removal of the character from the safety period. After that, you’ll be able to log back in. This safety period is designed to prevent players from unintentionally losing valuable items or characters.

If players run out of available characters and want to remove one, they’ll need to be patient until the 7-day Protection Period elapses first. However, players can purchase additional character slots to create a fresh character while waiting for the protection period to pass.

To ensure smooth gameplay, it’s recommended that players maintain at least one open character slot. This way, they can simultaneously create a new character and delete an old one without any interruptions.
