In the world of Assassin’s Creed franchises, stealth is undeniably significant. This principle holds true for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, where if players opt for a head-on approach in confrontations, they might find themselves marked as wanted fugitives.
In the game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” if either Naoe or Yasuke are marked as wanted, a warning will be broadcasted and guards throughout the province will immediately confront them. Players can alternate characters to bypass this issue, but it becomes problematic when a quest necessitates using a wanted character. Consequently, players may find it beneficial to learn how to clear a wanted status in “Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
How to Clear a Wanted Status in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
One simple method to remove a wanted tag is by being patient and letting time pass. With each shift in the seasons within the game ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’, all local alerts are reset, implying that characters like Naoe and Yasuke will no longer be considered wanted once a new season starts. Nonetheless, given that it takes roughly an hour of gameplay for this to occur, certain players might opt for a more active and swift resolution.

If gamers enhance the Kakurega at their hideout to level 2, they’ll acquire the power to delegate scouts for clearing regional warnings. To accomplish this, they just need to navigate to the map interface and position the cursor over a region with an active alert. After that, they should press and hold either the X key (for PlayStation) or A button (for Xbox) for a couple of seconds while the cursor is not hovering over any icon on the map. Provided they have two scouts at their disposal, their wanted status in that territory will be swiftly resolved.

It’s important to understand that unlike the change of seasons affecting the entire area, sending scouts to clear a regional alert will only erase a player’s wanted level in the specific province where they were dispatched. Consequently, if players aim to eliminate their wanted status across various regions, they must send scouts to each one individually. Fortunately, this is not too much of a hassle since they can reset their scouts by visiting any Kakurega. This comes at a cost of 200 mon per scout, resulting in a total expense of 400 mon to clear a wanted status.

Instead of needing to repeatedly reset regional alarms, players would be better off preventing their activation in the first place. This can be achieved by damaging or destroying the alarm bells located within forts and castles. Players don’t have to ascend ladders to accomplish this task; they can destroy a bell from a distance by shooting an arrow or throwing a projectile at it. In fact, they can even take down the bells while enemies are trying to climb up the ladder to sound them if they act swiftly enough.
