This latest update directed players towards the Occult Crescent field operation zone, one of the most eagerly awaited aspects of the expansion according to Dawntrail. The inspiration for this new zone comes from Final Fantasy 14’s War of the Magi and the classic Final Fantasy 5, offering players a chance to progress Phantom Jobs and explore an open area. Patch 7.25 also introduced a fresh chapter in the Hildibrand quest series and Mamool Ja society quests for Gatherers to enjoy.

The 7.3 update for Final Fantasy 14 marks the culmination of the Dawntrail expansion’s storyline, where the Warrior of Light and their companions engage in a final battle against Calyx, the Endless scientist who made his debut in the narrative quests from Patch 7.2.
In addition to the story quests for the “Dawntrail” in Final Fantasy 14, Patch 7.3 will also offer updates on Job balance, as well as the upcoming wing of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raids with themes inspired by Final Fantasy 11.
