Creating truly immersive games usually requires significant funding and large teams to carefully polish every detail. With game budgets and development times increasing alongside technological advancements, we’re likely to see some incredibly immersive games in the near future. Here’s a look at a few exciting upcoming titles that aim to push the boundaries of player immersion.

PC gamers have had a great November with lots of free games available. Steam recently gave away the shooter 12 Is Better Than 6 at no cost, and the Epic Games Store is continuing its tradition of offering free titles. Plus, RPG fans can currently get a free game from Ubisoft for a limited time.

Pokémon Pokopia is scheduled to launch on March 4, 2026, just after the 30th anniversary of Pokémon. It’s expected to be one of several big Pokémon games coming out next year.
Video games are full of iconic voice lines – think of Scorpion’s famous “Get Over Here!” or the chilling warnings from G-Man. Sometimes, a single line can define an entire game. Originally launched in May 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Red Dead Redemption follows John Marston, an ex-outlaw who is compelled to track down his former companions as a way to atone for his previous crimes. While a version was released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2023, and Xbox One and Series X/S players can access the original Xbox 360 game, the first Red Dead Redemption isn’t currently available as a dedicated game on modern consoles.
