In the past couple of weeks since Elden Ring Nightreign was released, you might have encountered a formidable mini-boss in Limveld that could give some of the nighttime battles a run for their money due to its incredible strength. However, it seems like one player has discovered an efficient method to handle this challenge.
The character under discussion is the Bell Bearing Hunter, who can show up as a Night 1 boss but may also be found roaming the map during the day. He’s quite formidable, being large and sturdy, capable of withstanding numerous attacks before he’s defeated. Moreover, he packs a powerful punch, making him an adversary that could give you pause, tempting you to seek out a less tough opponent instead (and remember, it’s perfectly fine if you do).
According to Reddit user oopskeedoop, it appears that the Bell Bearing Hunter might have a vulnerability. A player posted a video showing themselves facing off against the boss, shielding with their weapon, while the seemingly puzzled enemy cautiously approaches them. Meanwhile, the rest of the team relentlessly attacks the boss. When the boss attempts to target another player, a straightforward solution is available – simply step in front of him and obstruct his path once more.
Insane new Bell Bearing Hunter strat from r/Nightreign
The player tried using the ‘draw enemy aggression while guarding’ ability from the Relic, but it didn’t function exactly as they expected.
In the ongoing discussion, I shared that I was using the Relic on my Executor. To be clear, I wasn’t deliberately trying to employ any body-blocking tactics against him. It’s possible I didn’t fully grasp how the Relic functioned, or maybe Bell Bearing Hunter was focusing more on those dealing damage to the character.
To be honest, it doesn’t appear that this move was deliberately planned, as the player themselves admitted they didn’t consider it a practical approach. Frankly, I was just as surprised as they were to find out it could be repeated!
Well, I wouldn’t bank on this strategy holding up forever, but if you’re finding it tough to defeat that opponent, give it a go – it could potentially work as a last resort. Good luck!
