Elden Ring Nightreign’s Next Super Boss Gets a Release Date

June 26th. This new version promises a tougher boss fight to test your skills even further in this demanding game by FromSoftware. Previously, players faced the Everdark Sovereign version of Adel during the Gaping Jaw Nightlord run. In this upcoming update, you’ll encounter the Everdark Sovereign variant of Darkdrift Knight Expedition to battle against.

On June 26th, the Darkdrift Knight Expedition will receive an update coinciding with the release of Elden Ring Nightreign’s next update. This updated version is tougher and offers greater challenges, but it will only be accessible for a limited period. Overcoming these harder bosses will grant players Sovereign Sigils, a newly introduced token that can be traded for unique Relics and items. Players receive their first Sovereign Sigils each time they conquer a new Everdark Sovereign for the first time.

Previously, FromSoftware announced which bosses would receive the Everdark Sovereign upgrade. As such, the arrival of the centaur was expected, though the release date remained unknown. Among these upgraded bosses, Adel was the first to be identified, and more recently, Fulghor has been unveiled as the second. The final boss in this lineup is yet to be officially named, but it will pit players against a superpowered version of Gnoster Wisdom of Night, known as the Sentient Pest Expedition.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Bandai Namco has hinted at the arrival of more Everdark Sovereigns down the line. Among them are Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog. However, they haven’t disclosed a specific date for these bosses just yet. Regrettably, there’s still no word on when Gnoster Wisdom of Night will make its appearance.

Prepare yourself well for the formidable “Elden Ring Nightreign” challenges, as they are noticeably tougher than their usual counterparts. Cooperating with others and carefully selecting your character class will greatly enhance your ability to confront these treacherous enemies.
