Pokemon TCG Pocket Players Are Getting Frustrated With Sneak Peek Events

As a dedicated Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket gamer, I can’t hide my disappointment with the recent Sneak Peek event. Day after day, we open booster packs, hoping to snag those elusive cards every collector dreams of. To lighten the load a bit, the developers introduced the Sneak Peek as a recurring Pokémon TCG Pocket event, allowing us a sneaky peek at a potential Wonder Pick card. However, it’s still a challenge to actually get our hands on those coveted cards.

In simpler terms, Wonder Pick lets you choose from five cards that other users have received by opening a Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket pack. The rarer the cards in your selection, the more Wonder Stamina you’ll need to spend. But remember, even with spending stamina, luck still plays a big role in getting the card you want most. This has led some members of the community to believe that the system is biased. To address this issue, Pokemon TCG Pocket offers Sneak Peek, but it seems that this feature is causing frustration among players instead.

In the r/PokemonTCG Pocket subreddit, user Express-Media-1645 voiced their annoyance that the Sneak Peek feature isn’t always available when the event is active. To make their point clearer, they posted a screenshot of one of their Wonder Picks, where they ended up with a Sableye card instead of a coveted rainbow Dragonite ex. This particular Dragonite ex card was introduced during the Eevee Grove miniset launch and contains a unique special illustration by Mori Yuu, depicting the Kanto Pokemon flying alongside balloons.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Players Question the Usefulness of the Sneak Peek Event

During the Sneak Peek event in Pokemon TCG Pocket, players can preview a Wonder Pick card. However, it’s important to note that these sneak peeks occur at random and without any specific rules. This means that just because you make a Wonder Pick, it doesn’t necessarily mean the feature will activate every time. The community on Reddit has responded positively, with over 5,000 upvotes and around 300 comments expressing their thoughts. Many players concurred with Express-Media-1645’s sentiment, describing Sneak Peek as an extra layer of randomness (RNG) on top of the existing one.

Beyond finding Sneak Peek ineffective, another Reddit user pointed out that during the event, they feel as though the higher rarity cards are hard to find in Wonder Pick. So far, DeNA has not responded to the community’s concerns about Sneak Peek, but they continue to update Pokemon TCG Pocket regularly to maintain an enjoyable gaming experience. In the meantime, players are hopeful that this issue will be addressed and improvements made to Sneak Peek in the future.
