Upon collision, it topples its victim and anyone nearby with a massive explosion, creating an opportunity for another player to possibly overtake during an intense game of Mario Kart World.

In contrast, although the Blue Shell is incredibly beneficial for a racer aiming to overtake others, it’s essentially useless if the player collecting it is already in first position.
