The packaged foods like granola bars and energy drinks are always safe to consume. However, the foraged goods might not be entirely safe. Some of these natural finds could potentially harm players if handled carelessly. One example is Napberries. So, where do you come across them, and is it safe to eat them? How to Get Napberries in PEAK

In the game PEAK, Napberries are exclusive to the Alpine region, which is the third biome you’ll encounter. To reach them, players must first traverse the Shore and Tropics areas. The journey to the Alpine biome involves some challenging ascents.

Napberries don’t consistently grow in the same location. The map alters daily, so their position will vary with each reset. We stumbled upon them in caves, but their spot might be different for you. What makes Napberries stand out is their vibrant purple color and crescent-moon shape. Since the PEAK map resets every 24 hours, you can go back to the same place during subsequent runs on the same day to collect more Napberries.

What Do Napberries in PEAK Do?

In a more natural and easy-to-understand way: Napberries function as their name suggests – consuming them causes instant sleep. While it may sound amusing, this can be potentially hazardous, especially if your character is in a precarious situation or has low health points (HP). An unforeseen nap could easily derail your gameplay.

As a gamer, I’ve found that Napberries aren’t always beneficial, but they do have their moments. In certain tight spots where my character is riddled with negative effects and close to death, consuming a Napberry might just save the day. This magical fruit magically wipes out all my negative statuses, offering a new lease on life. However, let’s be real, these instances are quite rare. Generally, it’s smarter to steer clear of Napberries unless I’m in a real bind.
