What Do Legacy Umamusume Do?

The ‘triangle’ is the least favorable, thus it’s advisable to always select Legacy runners with at least a ‘single dot’ or ‘double dot’ Affinity rating when making your choices.

In simpler terms, the Affinity score of your Legacy “Umamusume” influences whether they pass on their additional Spark abilities to your trainee. During each career race, there are two instances known as Inspiration events where your trainee approaches the Three Goddesses statue and chases after their Legacy “Umamusume”. At these moments, your trainee gains stat enhancements from any blue Sparks. Additionally, there’s a chance that other Sparks may activate randomly during these events, offering additional bonuses to your trainee.

In simpler terms, the Random Number Generator (RNG) in Inspiration events depends on your Legacy Affinity score. A higher affinity increases the chances of pink Sparks appearing, which boosts your trainee’s skill even more, or triggers white/green Sparks for additional benefits such as hints and stat upgrades.
