Here’s an updated information: It appears that the development team has resolved the problem. Should you still encounter an unusually high escape rate, consider closing and reopening the application. For further details, please read on below.
It doesn’t seem like you’ve been shadowbanned in Pokemon GO. Instead, there’s a troublesome bug going around in the mobile game which causes Pokemons to escape right after a player throws the Poke Ball. Even with the use of berries to boost capture chances, it appears that the Pokemons are still slipping away following the initial attempt at capturing them.
All Pokemon are Running Away in Pokemon GO

Here’s my attempt:
I couldn’t resist the urge any longer, so I grabbed my phone and dived into the world of Pokémon GO following Leekduck’s tweet and a post on the Pokémon GO subreddit. It seems like a multitude of players are encountering the same issue, as suggested by the comments on both platforms. Strangely enough, I too have been faced with this instant fleeing problem while trying to catch some Pokemon myself.
I tried rebooting both my phone and the Pokemon GO app, but the problem is still ongoing. Since this might require developer intervention, it seems like patience could be the key here. Rest assured, we will keep you posted as soon as we have new information!
