This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia’s Ending.
Over the past year, I’ve been deeply missing the thrilling world of “My Hero Academia.” This remarkable series reached its conclusion, wrapping up its epic Final War Arc, leaving fans like me longing for more. After this grand finale, Deku and his friends moved forward, marking their graduation from the academy.
In his role as the world’s savior, Deku unintentionally lost his Quirk, which ultimately prevented him from reaching the pinnacle of power. Had he been equipped with the necessary tools, he could have equaled All Might’s prowess. Regrettably, All Might’s legacy remained largely undisturbed, but it’s worth noting that Izuku Midoriya had the potential to surpass even All Might, if given the opportunity.
All Might Was The Strongest In His Prime
- Defeated All For One
- Weakened Due To Injury
When discussing the astonishing might of All Might, it’s clear that he was an unstoppable force. Among all the wielders of One For All before Izuku Midoriya, only All Might dared to confront All For One head-on and emerged victorious. This battle and his subsequent defeat of All For One show just how powerful he truly was. Eventually, All Might became a beacon of hope for everyone, known as the Symbol of Peace, who looked up to him worldwide.
It’s alright now! Why, you ask? It’s because I am here! — All Might
Without a doubt, he attained an extraordinary level of strength, yet following his lethal wound in the battle against All For One, his power began to dwindle, leading him to search for a successor. That’s where Izuku Midoriya entered the picture. Deku proved himself as an ideal successor to All Might, but the power bestowed upon him was far from simple to control. Regardless, over time, he diligently trained his body to master One For All more effectively, and eventually, he truly excelled in it.
Deku Could’ve Been Even Stronger At His Max Power
Deku Only Used 45% Of One For All
It’s certainly arguable that Deku matches the strength of Prime All Might, but it’s also true that, given the potential, Deku exceeds All Might in terms of power. Unlike Deku, All Might didn’t have any vestiges; however, Deku possesses Danger Sense, Blackwhip, Gearshift, Smokescreen, Float, and Fa Jin abilities. What sets Deku apart is his ability to combine these powers creatively, producing unique skills that no one can easily counter.
Farewell, One For All! — Izuku Midoriya In the Final War Arc
However, it’s crucial to note that Deku has only managed to master 45% of the One For All Quirk. Despite this limitation, he’s been able to achieve feats comparable to Prime All Might. To compensate for his lack of control, he’s ingeniously combined his quirks to generate abilities such as Faux One For All 100%. Remarkably, he’s even capable of surpassing the 100% mark, making him exceptionally versatile – a fact well-known among fans.
Deku Wasn’t Allowed To Hit Full Potential
Without a doubt, Deku was on his path to becoming an extraordinarily potent Hero, even surpassing the combined might of All Might and All For One. Regrettably, his quirk’s duration was limited, and he didn’t manage to fully activate it before reaching 100%. In essence, Deku was inherently destined to be stronger than All Might in potential.
