Eleventh Hour Games has unveiled fresh insights about the upcoming Season 3 of Last Epoch, featuring revamped character classes and equipment. Dubbed as “Beneath Ancient Skies”, Season 3 is expected to launch soon following Krafton’s recent acquisition of the game’s studio.
Krafton made public its purchase of Eleventh Hour Games on July 25, and the studio’s CEO, Judd Cobler, showed enthusiasm about Last Epoch benefiting from additional resources and possibilities under Krafton’s publishing roof, even amidst the ongoing dispute concerning Krafton’s lawsuit against the creators of Subnautica 2. Fortunately, the development of Last Epoch carries on as planned, with Season 3: Beneath Ancient Skies set to be launched on August 21.
A fresh trailer for “Last Epoch” Season 3 has been unveiled, disclosing some fresh details on character class revamps, new equipment, and other exciting developments according to PCGamesN. The upcoming update will introduce the next installment of Last Epoch’s main narrative, set in the Ancient Era. Players will embark on a quest to track down the menacing Rift Beast that dwells within unruly rifts. To ready players for their adventure, several character classes will undergo reworkings. Specifically, the Acolyte’s Lich and Necromancer subclasses are set for revamping, with enhanced passive skills anticipated. Additionally, there will be new dual-wielding options, an innovative Flay skill, and equilibrium changes to minions for both the Necromancer and Primalist’s Beastmaster classes.
Last Epoch Season 3 Will Bring Acolyte and Primalist Class Reworks, Primordial Gear, and New Features
In conjunction with the class updates, Season 3 of Last Epoch will debut unique “primordial exalted items” and “primordial uniques,” which are fresh gear pieces that come with extra abilities and perks. Some of these new equipment items have been verified, such as the Tyrant’s Skill, Wildfire Embers, and Legends Entwined. The Tyrant’s Skill is a relic that summons a Tyrannosaur minion, Wildfire Embers is an amulet that spreads fire damage and generates Wildfire Wisps that mimic the player’s pyrokinetic abilities, and Legends Entwined is a potent ring that functions as part of every equipped item set and offers advantages based on the number of complete sets being worn.
In much the same way as Last Epoch Season 2, Season 3 is set to introduce several fresh features. Eleventh Hour Games has hinted at other modifications and enhancements coming to Last Epoch in Season 3, such as allowing cosmetics purchased to be used offline during gameplay. Additionally, the Merchant’s Guild will introduce a new token capable of replacing the cost of favor for purchases. The search for rare items is set to become more refined, incorporating roll ranges, and a quick filter option for sets will also be accessible.
