Battlefield 6 Clears Up Open Beta Early Access Confusion

Players of Battlefield 6 have been voicing their confusion about Early Access entitlement for the upcoming Open Beta. To clear up any misunderstandings, the developers have used social media to provide more details. The Open Beta for Battlefield 6 will commence on August 7 with Early Access, allowing players to test out the multiplayer modes and classes before the game’s official release later this year.

Based on EA’s latest announcement, Battlefield 6 will debut with their own Javelin anti-cheat system at launch. It’s worth noting that EA has been integrating Javelin into past games, such as Battlefield 2042, but it’s reassuring for players to know that the upcoming Battlefield 6 will provide enhanced protection from cheaters due to its built-in anti-cheat system right from the start.

On the official social media platforms for Battlefield 6, further details about the Early Access phase of the Open Beta were shared. In a recent post, developers outlined that players must first redeem their Early Access code in order to download the Beta version of the game. After redeeming the key, players might encounter a message saying “Base Game required,” which refers to the upcoming Beta Client that will be accessible for download next week.

Battlefield 6 Early Access Overview

Players can pre-download the Open Beta for Battlefield 6 as early as August 4 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 consoles, and PC via Steam and Epic Games. But they won’t be able to start playing until at least August 7, with the earliest playtime being 1:00 AM PST. To access the Early Access part of the Beta, players need to have registered with Battlefield Labs using their EA Account or possess a redeemable Early Access Beta code.

Players who don’t make it into the Early Access period for Battlefield 6 can still join in the fun during the Open Beta. You can grab it from your preferred store, and here’s an exciting part – the Open Beta is divided into two weekends! The first one starts on August 9-10, following the Early Access period (August 7-8). The second weekend runs from August 14-17.

Participating in the Open Beta gives you a sneak peek at Battlefield 6’s Multiplayer mode, and here’s another cool perk: you’ll earn rewards that will be ready for use in the game on its official launch day!

As a devoted gamer, I’m excitedly counting down the days until the grand launch of Battlefield 6. Unlike its predecessors, this new edition won’t be playable on Xbox One or PlayStation 4. But don’t worry if you missed out on the Open Beta – the official release is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for October 10, as Battlefield 6 will be available exclusively for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC gamers via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
