In the story of Kojiro Bondo, it’s revealed that he can expel a sticky cement substance from his head, which is more humorously depicted than threatening. However, during the U.A joint training arc, Bondo demonstrated that immobilizing an opponent, rather than physically attacking them, can be just as effective. His cement was fast-drying, extremely thick, and surprisingly tough to deal with in a crowded environment.

By skillfully adjusting angles and timing, Bondo had the knack of trapping opponents mid-charge and shattering formations effortlessly. In the skilled use of Cemedine, it’s almost as if a disaster strikes – an entire team can suddenly find themselves in a tight bind, one sticky situation after another.

Pop Off

The Purple Grapes, Unsuspected Megheroics

Mineta’s unique trait, known as Pop Off, allows him to detach sticky balls from his head and attach them to various surfaces – they won’t stick to him themselves. This peculiar ability is primarily for humor, but surprisingly, Mineta has managed to use it effectively in crucial moments.

When used in combination with his Quirks, he could become an aerial danger, executing flight sequences against opponents and often gaining the advantage (or disadvantage in certain instances) over them. While Float may not seem particularly impressive on its own, when paired with determination and strategy, it can prove to be quite effective.

While it may not seem extraordinarily powerful on paper, with no flashy lasers or teleportation abilities, this Quirk proves its strength in a real-life battle, especially when the fight escalates to city-destruction level intensity like All Might’s. The Shock Absorption Quirk, as demonstrated by Nomu, can withstand blow after blow that would easily incapacitate lesser beings, making it an undeniably formidable force.

During the U.A. Saga fight, it came as a surprise to everyone that the Nomu was capable of standing up to All Might, absorbing all his punches seemingly without any impact. The power from All Might’s attacks was more than the Quirk could handle, pushing the Number One Hero to his absolute limit. This wasn’t a power people admired; instead, it was so overwhelming that even the strongest warriors would quiver and pray upon seeing it. In a world where battles often conclude in just a few flashy moves, this Quirk transformed mere survival into the most formidable weapon.

Mushroom

Fungus Among Us and within Us

User: Kinoko Komori

The peculiar trait of Kinoko Komori, known as the Mushroom Quirk, lives up to its strange name. It allows her to grow mushrooms virtually anywhere, including among adversaries. While it may seem like a biohazard fantasy, this unique ability proved crucial during the team training battles at U.A. High School.

Komori never physically attacked by throwing a punch. Instead, she employed her mushrooms in unusual ways to disorient and disrupt the enemy. She could make them stumble due to impaired vision, disoriented breathing, and overall confusion. A remarkable instance was when she grew fungi within Tokoyami’s respiratory system, causing him to retreat. It turned out that controlling spores could be a powerful weapon in warfare, although it might not be flashy, it proved to be extremely effective, especially for those who dislike the unpredictability of mold growth.

Zoom

Eagle Eyes of the Engineering Genius

User: Mei Hatsume

Using Zoom allows you to see things from far away as if you have super vision. If you could use this ability to analyze and dissect any item you observe, it would be like having an invention and reverse-engineering tool at your disposal. On its own, this power doesn’t solve problems or win fights, but for a character like Mei Hatsume in the series, it helped her become one of the most insightful support characters.

Due to refining its design and accuracy during testing phases, Mei created equipment and devices that saved lives and turned the tide of battles. Her genius mind allowed her to work behind the scenes, while her unique abilities aided others on the battlefield. In times of chaos and explosive conflict, she serves as a beacon of calm and precision, acting as the equilibrium amidst the turmoil.

Sugar Rush

In the novel “Sugar Rush” by Rikido Sato, the author gains increased abilities according to the level of sugar in his body.
