During this unique four-day occasion, lure modules will last an hour each and have a higher chance than normal of attracting special Pokemon such as Combee and Swirlix. Additionally, there are two sets of time-limited research missions that players can complete to receive special prizes and potentially encounter some elusive Pokemon.

On the opening day, a specific player experienced quite an exciting spree, thanks to the Timed Research tasks in Pokemon GO. Consecutively, they managed to catch three radiant Swirlix, each one right after the other. Reddit user Mediocre_Bread3908 has graciously shared their fortunate catches online, as their Journal entries demonstrate that all three shiny Swirlix were captured within the same minute. All these Pokemon were encountered by utilizing rewards from completed Timed Research tasks. These tasks required catching 15 Pokemon, spinning the disc at five PokeStops or gyms, and employing five berries to aid in capturing Pokemon on that particular occasion.
Catching shinies in Pokemon GO is delightful, but it’s even more exciting when they can hold their ground in battles. This player managed to catch three shiny Swirlix that were quite comparable in battle strength at the time of capture, with levels ranging from 487 to 505. However, one stands out among the others, as upon evaluation, it was discovered that this was their third-ever shundo – a Pokemon that is both shiny and has optimal individual values for attack, defense, and HP.
