Xbox Owners Having Issues With Madden 26 Access

The latest version of Madden, Madden 26, has been released for those who purchased the Deluxe Edition, yet Xbox gamers are facing problems in gaining access to the game.

A brief scan of social media or a look at my direct messages reveals that several gamers are unable to play the game they bought, which was included in the EA Sports MVP Package containing both Madden 26 and College Football 26.

The specific issue is that the game is showing as unowned.

One solution could be that if you have EA Play, you can get a 10-hour trial download. Once this download finishes, the game should indicate that you own the full version, and you’ll be ready to go. Another option is to perform a hard reset on your console. To do this, press and hold the power button for at least ten seconds until it turns off completely. Wait a few moments before turning it back on again.

If neither EA Play nor the available workarounds are at your disposal, then you’re left with no choice but to patiently await an update regarding this issue from both Electronic Arts (EA) and Microsoft.

Madden NFL 26 can be played on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch as well. However, players who purchased the Standard Edition will need to wait until August 14 before they can start playing.
