The team responsible for combating cheating in Battlefield 6 has taken note of feedback from fans about the ongoing Open Beta and has shared data on what’s been addressed thus far. After the Early Access phase, the Battlefield 6 Open Beta is now available to all players, offering a sneak peek at the game ahead of its release, allowing them to join in the action for the first time.
Just as with numerous digital games, the subject of cheating and hacking often arises as a significant point of debate, and this appears to be the case with Battlefield 6. Despite Electronic Arts (EA) announcing that Battlefield 6 will debut with the Javelin anti-cheat system, beta tests have unfortunately revealed instances of cheating. Although players were taken aback by the occurrence of wallhacking, the community remains optimistic that these problems will be addressed by the time the game officially goes live.
Battlefield 6 Has Already Blocked A Substantial Amount of Cheating Attempts
During the first weekend of its open beta, the EA Anticheat team is working to combat cheating issues in Battlefield 6. In a detailed post on the EA forums, it was disclosed that Javelin has already thwarted over 330,000 attempts at cheating or tampering during the Early Access phase alone. On the very first day, players reported 44,000 instances of suspected cheating, with an additional 60,000 reports coming in on the second day.

It’s clear from the post that this is just the beginning for Battlefield 6 as it moves closer to its release date. The data and thwarted attempts are instrumental in enhancing the system, as the Gameplay Integrity team continues to refine it. With the Battlefield 6 Open Beta now active, it’s likely that these figures will surge, although players are optimistic that experiencing this during beta weekends will lead to a more seamless online experience on launch day.

As a die-hard Battlefield fan, I can tell you the buzz around Battlefield 6 is palpable! Ever since its unveiling and the multiplayer event, there’s been an overwhelming sense of excitement within our gaming community. Even before early access started, fans were lining up in droves for the open beta – even though the servers weren’t active yet. It’s clear that most players are impressed with what they’ve seen so far and believe Battlefield 6 marks a powerful comeback for the franchise. I can hardly wait to get my hands on it!
