Annually, The Pokemon Company commemorates the Pokémon World Championships by allowing players to obtain a free Pokémon that represents a member of the victorious team from the previous year’s tournament. Last year, a Sylveon belonging to Tomoya Ogawa’s team from the 2023 PWC was made available as a Mystery Gift for a limited period, mirroring the exact nature, statistics, moveset, and held item of the one that clinched the title the previous year. This time around, fans are given the chance to acquire a high-tier Farigiraf.

2025 PWC Livestream Will Announce Farigiraf Mystery Gift Code

The Pokémon Company has announced that during the 2025 PWC livestream, taking place from August 15-17, they will reveal a public Mystery Gift code for a Farigiraf modeled after the one used by Luca Ceribelli in his championship-winning team. This incredible gift is available to all players of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!

The limited-time offer is valid until August 22 at 4:59 PM (PDT), regardless if you’re attending the event in person or watching online. You can claim this free Farigiraf by tuning into the livestream on Twitch or YouTube, where the code will be displayed. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to expand your Pokémon Scarlet and Violet collection!

The announcement revealed that the Mystery Gift’s stats and moveset would match Luca’s Farigiraf (having Psychic Noise, Foul Play, Helping Hand, and Trick Room), but it did not specify its Tera type, Held Item, or nature. Given past distribution patterns of Mystery Gifts, we can assume that these aspects will also be consistent.

Once players complete the initial tutorial and arrive at Los Platos, the initial settlement within the game, they will have access to the Mystery Gift feature in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, each code can only be redeemed once per save file, so having multiple Farigirafs requires separate game copies.

While anticipating the 2025 PWC livestream, players have the opportunity to claim a Shiny Wo-Chien Mystery Gift immediately. This gift is a community reward for surpassing one million victories in the recent Tera Raid battle event.
