Okay, 2026 is shaping up to be amazing for us Souls fans! I’m already hyped for games like Nioh 3 and Code Vein 2 dropping soon – I’m expecting to lose tons of hours to those, dying repeatedly but hopefully getting good at them! And it doesn’t stop there. There are a bunch of other promising Soulslike games confirmed to come out later in the year, though a lot of them don’t have firm release dates yet. Things can always change and games get delayed, but here’s a look at the biggest upcoming Soulslikes we can expect to see in 2026.

Even though Akira Toriyama wasn’t directly involved in creating the story or art for most of Dragon Ball Super, the series has maintained the high quality of the Dragon Ball franchise. From the original Dragon Ball to DBZ and Dragon Ball Super, the series boasts some of the most exciting fight scenes in anime history. While Goku is often the star of these battles, Dragon Ball truly shines when it pushes him and the Z-Fighters to their limits against overwhelming challenges.

Both options lead to the same destination – Cloud, Tifa, and Barret reaching floor 59 – and only the journey differs. Your choice won’t affect any rewards, trophies, or achievements.

Boruto Uzumaki is the main character of the Boruto series and has quickly become one of the world’s strongest ninjas. In recent story arcs, particularly Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, he’s shown incredible growth as a shinobi, potentially becoming the strongest of all. He’s now powerful enough to face threats like the Otsutsuki clan by himself, as demonstrated in his battle against the Shinju. Despite his strength, Boruto continues to train and push himself to become even more powerful so he can protect his friends and family.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers have several new games to look forward to before the end of January! These include The Talos Principle 2 (available January 27th), Anno: Mutationem and Drop Duchy (both available January 28th), MySims: Cozy Bundle (PC only, January 29th), and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (January 29th). January’s lineup offers a wide range of games, and February’s selection promises the same variety.

Ubisoft has been struggling financially after some of its major games didn’t perform as well as expected. Last October, Tencent, which already owned a small part of Ubisoft, invested €1.2 billion (about $1.25 billion) to help. In return, Tencent received a 26% share in a new Ubisoft division called Vantage Studios, which is now in charge of popular franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry. Three months later, Ubisoft announced a significant reorganization, creating five creative teams, with Vantage being the first. Along with this, the company is working to cut costs and has asked employees to return to the office, saying this will help the new structure succeed.
