Over the past ten years, A24 has built an incredible reputation for creating critically and commercially successful independent films. They’ve even won two Best Picture Oscars for Everything Everywhere All at Once (2023) and One Battle After Another (2026), and have produced other highly acclaimed films like Civil War, Uncut Gems, The Brutalist, and Marty Supreme.
Even though its development wasn’t without challenges, Crimson Desert has been a commercial success, surpassing several sales goals. It’s already sold over 5 million copies in under a month and is poised to become one of 2026’s best-selling games. While critics had mixed reactions, players are enjoying the game, and Pearl Abyss is actively improving it with regular updates. The story, however, remains a common complaint among fans, as it’s considered one of the game’s weaker aspects.
Crunchyroll is the world’s leading anime streaming platform. While it’s best known for its TV series, especially new episodes released each season, it also offers a fantastic selection of anime movies that are well worth checking out, even though they aren’t always prominently featured. I don’t think the 2000s anime are ruined by any means – a lot of them still hold up really well and are totally worth watching. It’s not the specifics of what was removed, who asked for it, or even which platforms complied that bothers me. What’s really striking is how quickly it all happened. A single request, a short period of pressure, and a large part of the creative world was changed. No laws were broken, and yet it still occurred.
You can craft a Simple Fishing Rod using a Workbench. To unlock the ability to make one, you first need to improve your Workbench in Windrose. Do this by building either a Sawhorse or a Toolbox near your Bonfire. Each of these constructions raises the level of all Workbenches in your base by one, and you’ll need at least a level 2 Workbench to create a Simple Fishing Rod.
It’s been a decade since the last Uncharted game came out, but there’s growing buzz about the future of the series. Naughty Dog is currently developing Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and reports suggest they’re also working on a new Uncharted project. This could be a remake of the original game, a fifth installment, or even both. While these reports haven’t been officially confirmed, interest in the Uncharted series is definitely increasing, and we’re learning more about the existing games.
I was pretty happy with the game back in September, after trying an early demo, and honestly, not much has changed. The developers listened to feedback and fixed the main issues I had, like tiny text and unclear explanations for certain abilities.
