After having a successful early release on PC, the distinctive style of life-simulation games from inZoi will debut on PlayStation 5 in the year 2026. This version is expected to feature new downloadable content and will be tailored specifically for optimal performance on the console.
InZoi was compared to The Sims, a popular game known for its initial feature allowing players to run over children. With Electronic Arts’ series having sold hundreds of millions of copies, it has quite a lead, meaning there’s a significant amount of ground for InZoi to make up. Remarkably, InZoi managed to sell one million copies within its first week on the market.
Since then, numbers have decreased as anticipated, but a potential PS5 release might just be the boost Zoi needs to regain visibility.
Could inZoi Rival The Sims’ Domination?
In a recent announcement, Krafton revealed that their immersive life simulation game, inZOI, is set to debut on PlayStation 5 during the first half of 2026. The PS5 edition promises an optimized console version, ensuring players can enjoy the same rich gameplay experience they’ve come to expect from the PC version.
As a gamer, I’d say “The game’s console version has been specifically tailored to capture the essence of PC gaming. It’s all about streamlined control schemes and optimized performance, making it an effortless and immersive play experience for us console gamers.
As a dedicated player, I’m excited to share that the unintentional glitch of running over children has been recognized and addressed, ensuring a smoother gaming experience on the upcoming PlayStation 5. But fear not, that’s not something you’ll be doing! Instead, look forward to our first significant DLC expansion, Island Getaway, arriving in 2025. Although it was initially planned for launch alongside PS5, whether it will be complimentary remains to be seen.
In the usual fashion, there’s an abundance of news to peruse at IG. Battlefield 6 has racked up 600,000 sales on Steam and boasts 2.7 million wishlists. Resident Evil: Requiem promises combat style akin to The Last of Us and incorporates vehicles. Borderlands 4 is set to offer a staggering 30 billion guns for players to wield.
