On August 18, the studio behind Battlefield 2042 delivered an unexpected update, dubbed Patch 9.2.0. This update not only provided a wealth of fresh content for fans to explore, but also offered a free Battle Pass as a tribute to the series’ past in anticipation of Battlefield 6.
Although Battlefield 2042 received mainly unfavorable feedback at its release, players are returning to this disputed 2021 shooter in anticipation of Battlefield 6 ‘s upcoming launch on October 10. The excitement for the forthcoming series installment seems palpable, and DICE is capitalizing on this momentum with a fresh “Road to Battlefield 6” Battle Pass in 2042. This free Pass can be claimed in-game until October 7 and grants players the chance to secure 50 new rewards, with 30 of them being accessible at Battlefield 6‘s launch.
