Enshrouded has just unveiled a sneak peek of its upcoming update, named Wake of the Water, during Gamescom 2025 with an impressive trailer. The exciting new update from Enshrouded is scheduled to launch in October 2025, and it certainly looks promising based on the latest footage.

Under the production of Keen Games, the game titled “Enshrouded” was unveiled in early access back in January 2024. Since then, it has gained significant popularity as a survival game incorporating RPG aspects. In the world of Embervale, presented within “Enshrouded”, multiplayer servers supporting up to 16 players enable exploration and interaction. Players can roam freely across this open environment, engaging in activities like constructing bases, creating new items, battling creatures, and struggling against the challenges posed by hunger and thirst. Keen Games has already indicated that “Enshrouded” will fully launch as version 1.0 in 2026, and they have consistently released updates ever since its initial release.

Enshrouded Reveals Wake of the Water Update for October 2025

During Gamescom 2025, Enshrouded revealed its October 2025 update named “Wake of the Water”. Although no specific details about this update were shared at the event, it’s evident that upcoming modifications will significantly enhance water elements within Enshrouded.
